Hi this picture is a cooling joke as if they are S2 (am not so sure) they produce LOT of heat depending where they are located(close to the equator or not). I remember a guy had some miners in Alaska but when prompted for the temperatures he had it was -40 to -20 so at this levels I dont know what is needed. Some users have commented that S1 does not like so much extreeme cold but for S2 I dont know. Running some of my Antminers S1 in the winter time with temps 0-7c did not have any kind of problems with heat as in the room I had them was a window always open.

couldn't find the "Picture of your mining farm" thread so i guess this will do. phase 1 Niiice Was but the room turned into a furriness hitting 47Degrees, the A/C units are shit anyone any recommendations on cooling that doesnt involve proper DC grade heat extraction and recovery? Its not hard, work out how much power (energy) you are pulling out and then get the equivalent amount of cooling power. Heres some ideas to get you going: Heat is measured in either British Thermal Units (BTU) or Kilowatts (KW). 1KW is equivalent to 3412BTUs. Most aircon units are measured in BTU's so I'll work in that unit. Equipment BTU = Total wattage for all equipment x 3.5 Room Area BTU = Length (m) x Width (m) x 337 Lighting BTU = Total wattage for all lighting x 4.25 There seems to be no windows, or people working in there permanently so you can probably leave those calculations out. Total Heat Load = Room Area BTU + Windows BTU + Total Occupant BTU + Equipment BTU + Lighting BTU So you need enough aircon cooling to handle that amount of heat. I'd say on equipment alone you would need minimum 100KW or 350K BTU's of cooling It only appears that you have two of them, thats max 50K BTU if you have the most powerful (25K BTU) wall-split units, so you would need 14 of them.

Move the lot to Iceland. Cheap power, nice climate, very good high density deployments are possible.

(Took the power numbers from https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OVQkQ37BGhk) 1 RT = 3.5168525 kW so you need ~32.1 I would round up to 35-40 tons. That is two large CRACs and outdoor condensing unit. Most of the stuff has a 45-60 day lead time, plus budget 1-2 weeks of install. I would hire an engineer and get it done right. No real do overs.

It does look neet . Only one suggestion. Dont use that crappy extender cable. U need good quality one with safety . It is rated for 3600 watt. 2x 800 watt usage would not be a problem I guess, this is also the max on this circuit (on a seperated fuse) that we are going to use.

Old Style Legacy Plug & Play BBS System. Get it from www.synchro.net. Updated 1/1/2021. It also works with Windows 10 and likely 11 and allows 16 bit DOS game doors on the same Win 10 Machine in Multi-Node! Five Minute Install! Look it over it uninstalls just as fast, if you simply want to look it over. Freeware! Full BBS System! It is a frigging hoot!:)

I would definitelly put theese "toys" behind quality extender with surge protection. Its about 30% more expensive, so no big deal
