Hell of a lot nicer looking than mine! What 4U Case is that?

Thanks. This is custom built in a factory ; right now it's prototyping.
We plan to produce small series (~100), for our data center.

If there is interest, I can sell some, but shipping from France could be a problem (expensive)

I wonder what gpu temps will be in a 4u case like that

We have the same configuration in an open rig, and the temp are the same (around 90° per card with 70% fan power).
The real test will be to put 10 rigs like that in a 19" rack.

I'll check about the fans, the refs are at work.

You might want to consider some typhoon's insted, if you need more air pressure Smiley

I heard about them, but I couldn't source them easily.
Noctua are 1200 rpm ; are the Typhoons really more effective ?

You are putting these in a data center, why are you wasting money on case fans? You don't need them to be quiet, so why not just buy some badass 120mm deltas? I know of a few that will push 200+ cfm. If you jump to 24V somehow, 600+ cfm from a single fan is possible.

Please DO NOT send me private messages asking for help setting up GPU miners. I will not respond!!!

The Typhoons and Noctuas are better for high pressure applications, like pushing/pulling through mesh or a radiator. The Typhoons @ 1850rpm are actually quieter than my Noctua 1500rpm fans, and perform a bit better on my radiators.

Hi,

I'm new. Antminer overclocked to 393.5 mhz. Hashing at 198-202 gh/s. Compact. The girlfriend doesn't mind.  Wink http://imgur.com/US14sAS

Yeah, this isn't reddit. I don't think I need the karma. Just really happy with my new toy. Probably going to pick up a couple more, until BA decides to ship my X1's.

gentle typhoon 1850 are quiet.. but they dont really move much air... only draw 0.08amps.. which is quite weak.. from my experience

go commercial or server grade is better.
i use the Delta and sanace 92mm fans.... you really need those 3000-5000rpm fans to get things moving. of coz sound levels will suffer more.. Grin

btw, your perforated steel case looks great..  Wink
