Nice to hear. UTC is dirt cheap now, but potential delisting is holding me back from buying big amounts.

My address seems to be missing from the top 100 list. It's Bittrex address, do I need to create new address with official Ultracoin wallet?

why it seems to you like so if there is any logic if it is then you can creat new one for your facility.

Dear Ultracoin Community,

It has been a little while since my last update, and I do apologize for this, I have meant to give a status update earlier this week but I have been sick and catching up with work had put me behind. Mostly importantly, the Ultracoin website has been relaunched! However, it has been moved to Ultracoin.io, the reason behind this is that unfortunately the .net domain has expired, no one on the current management team owned it and even if we found the owner it was too late as the domain had been parked. I attempted to recover the domain but it has been bought out by another party, I am attempting to contact that party in order to sequester the domain. I am also in the process of negotiating terms to buy ultracoin.com, a much more popular top level domain that would give us marketing equity and more powerful branding. The website has been migrated to a new server, the same host of ultracointalk.org and useultracoin.com, this will enable us much more control over the website from now on as well as peace of mind. I am going to be updating the back end and will update portions of the website next, such as the downloads section and more.

I will also be putting together a continuity of management package for the development team in order to ensure in the event that something were to happen to any key members of the team, entrusted community members and key development team members will receive a secure backup of important infrastructural files such as a full website and forum backup, passwords and logins to various social media and web resources. Ultracoin's future must be guaranteed in the event of service failure or personnel leave.

On the development front, I must report that things have been moving slowly as the holiday season and personal priorities have suspended our rate of progress. Now that the new year is beginning, however, we are getting ready to move along and are already in talks with several developers on planned contracts. Once things are more solidified I will be announcing progress, goals and potential time lines moving forward. Also, I have learned we have been added to Brave New Coin, which will be a valuable tool to investors and speculators: http://bravenewcoin.com/Ultracoin#Trading-Pairs

As for Bittrex, Ultracoin has a long standing relationship with Bittrex and given our tenure I would assume that worries of delistment are unreasonable. This is not the first time that Bittrex has marked Ultracoin for delistment, this is an automatic process that has worried investors in the past. We have been in contact with Bittrex on this issue many times, the best thing for us as the management team is to report our progress to Bittrex every so often so they understand we are still active and progressing. I do agree with Usukan that it will be wise for us to start looking for other potential partners in the exchange front, especially a European or Chinese market, once volume is up.

Let's continue to push for an exciting 2017, I will update the community on updates in the very near future. There is much work to be done!

P.S. Ultracoin t-shirts are still available, all funds go towards development.

Valpe

True - seems Bittrex have delisted UTC
Disabled   BTC-UTC   This market did not meet the volume requirements and is being evaluated for delisting on January 28th, 2017.

I'll have a chat with Steven - but its clear we need another exchange.

I am also talking with TIDEX.COM - a new exchange in testing at present. I have been testing recently.  Asking to list UltraCoin and the UltraCoin WAVES Token.

Its a very user friendly UI - similar to Poloniex.  They may have a priority for Waves related coins so we might be attractive since we have a Community distributed WAVES token. It would give us another avenue to trade in/out of UltraCoin to other cryptos and tokens.

Bittrex Update

Its official - Bittrex has delisted UltraCoin - Ryan Hentz from Bittrex just confirmed via email.

Best withdraw your UTC from Bittrex - they will probably shut down withdrawals from Bittrex in the near future.

It's time for a fresh start. Bittrex made huge profit in the past from UTC fees, but I understand their decision.

And thanks a lot Steven for your efforts, good to hear all the news.

I had a few discussions with OpenLedger about listing UltraCoin. It turned out they WANTED 4 BTC to list us - so I respectfully advised them to "forget it".

Getting delisted is blowback for arbitrarily decreasing the mining rewards. Miners provide a lot of value to include volume and liquidity, which is especially important for an emerging coin. PoS also hurts liquidity in a way that is very underestimated at the moment, but that sentiment will certainly change in the crypo-world.

Ones who bet wrong in the game of price discovery are hurt, but such is the real world. Hopefully, UTC learns from that mistake and never tries to manipulate block rewards again. However, you have this rapture33 person still around who is the one who has made these terrible decisions.

just a thought - delisting from Bittrex does not need to mean a complete trading halt on UltraCoin

Members can choose to offer Over The Counter (OTC) trades here on this thread.  Buys and sells can be completed with complete safety by using escrow.

For instance - I could offer to buy 100k UTC at 0.000002 (on this BCT thread)

anyone interested could PM me - we could negotiate - and when we have agreement

PM escrow agent and he will take care of the rest (both parties send escrow the UTC and BTC agreed) - he takes a small fee (usually Fee 1% - split 50/50 between buyer and seller) - and then sends on the BTC and UTC to the respective recipients

Of course TRUSTED escrow agent is 100% critical

thats where this guy comes in

Might I suggest perhaps the best Escrow in the business for OTC trades

Tried tested and trusted 100%
Just PM him when you have agreement on a trade and he will ensure all is good

Hi for everet - make sure you withdraw any UTC you might have On Bittrex asap (and anything else)

You are not the only one here to be screwed up by Bittrex here.

Its not really the time for whinging - its time to do something.  Step up if you want to help get UTC listed somewhere else.

Interesting - Bittrex seems to be in trouble really - they are losing market share fast.

https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/volume/24-hour/ - currently #26 which is pretty abysmal really.

Note the coins churning their top vols - not very inspiring. Only 2-3 coins which are legit.

Bittrex is dying I'm afraid - little wonder they are delisting so many coins - Be warned.
