my coins got stuck @mintpal from withdrawing its been 3days but no one answered my ticket. I have had the same issue with my UTC and BTC. Nothing on the blockchain and it has been three days. I talked to a crypto-lawyer at the convention if things go south, but hopefully it doesn't come to that...
I will give a full debrief of the convention once I have time and and access to affordable Wi-Fi! I have been more quiet than I would like to be, but know my time not posting was time well spent at the conference. Overall the convention was a success and has opened up a lot of doors for Ultracoin. I was very pleased to see the fanatic reception of Ultracoin and the exposure that puts us a cut above the competing currencies. Don't worry about it the coins are safe I'm sure Mintpal is good something similar happened before and I got my coins. I have about 190k MIA right now but I have faith in Mintpal to do the right thing.

oh dear . . . I think I was expecting too much. I thought he was gona be a great motivational presenter full of energy and tell everyone what they are missing out on, by not mining UTC. instead we got someone who spent more time hooking up his Powerpoint presentation (16 minutes) than presenting it (14 minutes), and just describing what was on each slide like the audience were 12 year olds. What a waste of an opportunity . . . . . 'ermmm' . . .'ermmmm' sorry to be blunt but i call it as i see it. Hopefully the audience were more impressed than me.

@Pugman
I apologize for that... He was obviously very nervous, and I thought he would be more prepared. It was towards the end of the show on day 1 before they started serving drinks. So there were only about 15-20 people in the audience, for that reason I was planning on making a YouTube video for us explaining everything I wanted to explain. Most of the interactions were at our table, where I passionately preached the gospel of Ultracoin and Scrypt-ChaCha. The convention was absolutely NOT a waste, we have made some worthwhile connections and influences and received TONS of positive exposure. I will release a report debriefing the entire conference soon, I am very excited to do so and just touched down in Florida, so a report should be out tonight.

Hello ladies & gentlemen of the Ultracoin community,
I have just returned home from a long two week business trip, ending in the Hasher's United conference in beautiful Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. The conference was phenomenal, with many speakers, entrepreneurs, coin developers, industry specialists, journalists, and of course miners. Marshall Long, the CTO of Final Hash was happy to have us there, and I was thrilled to be there representing Ultracoin. Ultracoin was in the best position out of any coin, not only did we have a speaker with an exclusive time slot, Travis Tolle, who explained the more technical aspects of Scrypt-ChaCha and delved into the code, but we also had a tabling spot at the conference. Not even Vertcoin, Mastercoin nor Litecoin had this type of exposure, the only other coin represented at the conference like ours was Jim Blasko and his team representing Unbreakable coin who I had the pleasure to meet. Jim is working on a Crypto Trading card game that will feature the top 100 cryptos with real scratch off private keys, Jim will be including Ultracoin in the set once it is launched. Jim also let me know that Ultracoin is being accepted on UnbreakableCoinAuctions.com, which is an eBay type auction website which exclusively deals in cryptocurrency, check it out.
Ultracoin had a wide range of exposure at the conference, attendee's could be seen perusing the show floor carrying the Ultracoin branded folder containing marketing material targeting miners, investors, and ultra-junkies that already mine or hold our coin. Our t-shirts also made quite the impression at the conference, many attendee's, including other vendors, told us that we had the best designs in the conference and some even said the best in all of crypto! So that was a pleasant surprise! Our "Miner" shirt designs did look great, the material was great, and I am confident that people will actually be wearing our shirts, including a group from suchlocaldoge.com, a group of advertisers that walk the Las Vegas strip carrying signs and wearing t-shirts that all advertise crypto exclusively. They wore our shirts along the strips last night, and promised to wear our shirts at least once a week while out on the strip, all in the name of supporting crypto-currencies. It was charming to see all of the people who were just in it for the movement, Bitmain showed off their competitor Rock Miner at the conference, GAWminers supported Genesis Mining, RoboCoin ATM's supported their competitors and UnbreakableCoin supported Ultracoin. It was truly powerful to see the camaraderie amongst the strong entrepreneurial spirit all around the conference floor.
I also had the pleasure of filming various parts of the conference, hopefully I will have a video up some time in the coming week, for those of you who have missed the live stream with speakers like Tim Draper who have claimed that $10,000/BTC in 3 years was a conservative estimate, I will be putting up a video of the sessions that I have recorded. There were many journalists at the conference including Stan Higgins from CoinDesk who mentioned Ultracoin in the following featured article on their website: http://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-mining-las-vegas-convention/ Social media was also abuzz as we had a farther than usual reach on both Facebook and Twitter, our coin market cap and price is remaining consistently higher, and our network hashrate has increased significantly since the beginning of the convention. Of course, we would like to ride on this momentum and keep it going for as long as possible. That is why we have also found some positive leads on Java developers for our online wallet and minecraft plugins. The developers in question were passionately referred to us and their credentials have been noted, finding trustworthy developers in the wild wild west of crypto has always had its risks, luckily we have some great leads now for hard working devs that can join our team and help us move forward.
The good news doesn't stop there, we also have new partnerships opening up, as the exclusive altcoin in many cases with the likes of Crypto Crowd Funding for movies, NFC cards for Ultracoin, featuring on an a new exchange that deals mutli-signature escrow services, involvement in bitcoin education classes, and more. I spoke with the founder of Bits Be Trippin', a popular YouTube channel that talks exclusively about crypto-currency mining, we spoke about doing a video implementing Ultracoin. I also had the pleasure to meet Mate Tokay, the CEO of Bitcoinist.net, which is poising to overtake CoinDesk in readership, we are going to collaborate in putting Ultracoin on the weekly Alt-Coin round-up. Media exposure is extremely important, and we will need to keep up the exposure and always be seeking new and relevant audiences. As our partnerships grow, many doors open for Ultracoin and the more leverage we have in getting accepted, getting exposed, and getting used. There are some exciting new developments that have opened up for that the Ultracoin team that we will be following up on post Hasher's United that will greatly benefit Ultracoin, both in the realms of development and marketing. The reception we received from miner's at the conference was very positive as well, many miner's came and talked to us after picking up a folder earlier on to let me know that Ultracoin would be the new coin they will start mining. They admired our passion, our sense of purpose, and the fact that we have been successful since February. There is no doubt that Ultracoin has come a long way in terms of our success, but it is up to us to keep that momentum going into the future and above and beyond what anyone else thinks is capable for us.
There are many new projects, developments and opportunities now being examined behind the scenes and I will be keeping you all up to date when news can be announced. Between an aggressive marketing strategy for gaining wide range adoption, becoming a bigger name in the cryptocurrency community, and expanding our development projects, I am very excited about the future of Ultracoin, and you should be too. Thank you all for making this possible, without the generosity and support of the Ultracoin community, this wouldn't have happened. Thank you all again for being a part of the future of crypto, and if you have any questions about the conference or anything else, please feel free to ask or e-mail me at Steven@Ultracoin.net for more details. And lastly, I received an e-mail earlier today from the "World Bitcoin, Digital Money & Payment Systems Conference 2014” inviting Ultracoin to speak at the Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand on November 11th & 12th of 2014. I will have to speak with the rest of the management team about our official response, but it is an honour to be invited to another conference on such short notice!
Sincerely,
Steven "Rapture" PR & Marketing Director Steven@Ultracoin.net Ultracoin

I almost began mining vertcoin from the start, they are obsessed with ASIC resistance, but there are already private Scrypt-N ASIC's out there, and they will be available to the public Q1 of 2015, possibly as soon as January. So far Scrypt-ChaCha seems like the best bet for long term ASIC resistance.

Excellent News Steven!
You and the new management team have done a fantastic job rescuing UTC from the Death-by-FUD it was facing a couple of months ago. Well done.
It's great to hear about the new developer interest as well. UTC still needs to forge ahead with the UTC Wallet and Minecraft plug-in that were planned a long time ago.

Stop accept new accounts for http://ultracoinpool.info/ (I wonder why it have not been blocked time ago.) If I remember right it was previously but it looks like continuously open for new miners. Why? Ultracoinpool Gen.Est // found Last Hour 120 // 73 Last24Hours 2,880 // 1,639 Last 7 Days 20,160 // 12,625 Why this is problem. This is PoW/PoS coin and very difficult to see so bad 51% danger. Also these all avalable three pools have quite long ping time from europe. I have 91-92ms to ultracoinpool. 94-96ms to ultracoiners and around same to tumblingblock. Some peoples around of world may think that this is US only coin. Not very good situation.

Yep, the same with me (I'm from Europe too), my ping is even worse: 115 ms and I thik this is the reason I have so many stale shares.
