Both doge94 & paradigmflux need to check their respective pools...

@paradigmflux, I haven't seen a payout in several days now... Looks like several people are getting fed up with it as well, as there is almost no hashing power on your pool anymore. What's the deal?

Why does Blagos need the passphrase for solo mining? The yuk's miner in the Guide for solo mining doesn't require a passphrase?

check the Dropbox link in both thread, this is actually both the same miner (from Blago)  Wink

I just notice that...lol

Still strange that it needs to locate the passphrase.txt to solo mine. I would think it just need the account number.

passphrase.txt need for solo. Miner send nonce and pass to local wallet.
src - https://www.dropbox.com/s/zjf3mldk2h8zdgz/miner.cpp?dl=0
exe - https://www.dropbox.com/s/85cequgcmlonc6z/miner-burst.zip?dl=0   (last "\" fixed for paths)

Code:
miner.exe solo 127.0.0.1 8125 C:\path d:\path\ e:\path ...
Code:
miner.exe solo+show 127.0.0.1 8125 C:\path d:\path\ e:\path ...
 - paranoic mode (show messages to and from server)  Cheesy

yet did not work if passphrase contains special characters.

I tried it but not a single deadline (below 150000) is counted by the devs v2 pool.

Yesterday I was browsing here and there and I've found what I thought was "Just another coin": Burst
Read the introduction: no premine, new algorithm, uses HDD... ehi wait was that an idea of Microsoft I read a couple of months ago?!
Re-read... after plotting CPU is idle and only 256MB to read each TB involved? You mean almost no energy drain? WT???
I'm in!
I freed 900GB, plotted and mining on Dev v2 pool and in 24h I'm in profit, energy included.

I feel this coin has a lot of potential, cannot see disadvantages... So... I also bought 10.000 BURST right away! Let's go for the long run!

P.S.: oh... as you may see this was my first post even if I'm in crypto since Nov 2013 (wish my P2P teacher spoke about BTC a couple of months before! Damn Bitc...oin)... I really think this one has potential.

Smiley  This coin looks interesting.... I will mine it!....

Not on an SSD drive though..only on cheaper mechanical drives...

Western Digital, Seagate, Hitachi, Samsung and all the other Hard Drive manufacturers are going to love this coin!

They need to show some gratitude and buy some!

Good luck all!

I am buying some and mining some!

I had my account hacked due to a weak password I was told. It has be re-secured and a stronger password implemented. Hacker was posting malware links using my account. Always use a very strong password.

What is going on with pools?

I am mining on various pools, no reward last few days... 4Tb HDD.
Shares are submited, no offline time. I switched few pool in searching for payout, and almost nothing.

I have been away on a work assignment for over two weeks. Please tell we what I have missed. There are too many pages to wade through. I have the new wallet installed and am downloading the blockchain from scratch just because.

I hate these long work assignments because I can not access the outside world from underground Smiley

EDIT: I am happy to report that C-CEX cam good on my missing >4K BURST so have removed the negative trust.

Hello, and attention all miners of burstpool.ddns.net

Please remember that those who were mining before this announcement https://burstforum.com/index.php?threads/the-big-announcement.149/ get first choice for shares. In a few days we will be making them available to all, so please send your 1k (or less) burst to BURST-T7BK-USTG-KVKC-D2RDL and you will be sent 10 shares in the pool.

NOTE: Max 10 shares per person mining on the pool pre-announcement. Also, currently only available to those who were mining on the pool pre-announcement. If you are interested and weren't mining on the pool pre-announcement, place a bid order and wish that someone who was mining pre-announcement sells to you, or just wait till we make shares public.

--Irotniga

ermm...I used the "buy asset" page from the wallet, but my order is not filled yet. do I need to cancel that somewhere?

You must send 1k burst to asset account, not place buy order atm
