dev, this isn't working:

http://127.0.0.1:8125/burst?requestType=getRewardRecipient(BURST-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxx) <--- with either acount in rs format or numeric

it returns

{"errorCode":1,"errorDescription":"Incorrect request"}

and sometimes

{
    "errorCode": 3,
    "errorDescription": "\"account\" not specified"
}
try this instead:

http://127.0.0.1:8125/burst?requestType=getRewardRecipient&account={NumericalAccountID}

thx

Native C++ Miner Update 1.1 R4

binaries and source available here : https://github.com/uraymeiviar/burst-miner/releases
for osx, linux64 and win64

  • capable to read large stagger plot, with manual limit option on memory usage
  • Fix thread race condition, which reported to less nonce read
  • add option of buffer size (MB) in mining.conf to limit memory usage

and also, github automatically give the project website : http://uraymeiviar.github.io/burst-miner/

This miner reading speed is much slower than java miner.

I tried using java and C ++.

Java took less than a min to complete reading the plot whereas C ++ miner took 2.5 - 3 mins.

Everything else looks great for C ++ miner except the plot reading.

Anyone having the same problem ?

I made my burst thing on my vps public, so try going here

172.245.214.105:8125

Inviting people to enter their burst passphrase on an unencrypted connection to your naked IP address is begging for all sorts of trouble.  Someone catches it in flight, their burst gets stolen, you get the blame.

well the blockchain has completed downloading and still nothing happens when entering passphrases.  So Im guessing if you download and install the latest 1.1.2 bare you need a previous version installed first for it work properly.

No, try a different browser or my link, I run burstcoin.info , I have no reason to try steal your stuff Wink Can you post a screenshot of the furthest you can get? Also, try making an api call like:

http://127.0.0.1:8125/burst?requestType=getMiningInfo

and see if you get anything back.

Clear your web browser cache. Several other people had this issue when upgrading.

Yeah, I don't believe that you are trying to scam anyone. Only problem is that there isn't any way for you to prove that.

I think that's a good idea.  Thanks, Irontiga.

There is also some risk to yourself in keeping those ports open to the world, if you're using the server for your own burst activity.  Any vulnerability in it could lead to your burst passphrase being stolen.  I don't know how carefully the server has been reviewed with security for that kind of exposure in mind.

My passphrase isn't on my server. I wouldn't trust myself Wink With the faucet tho, I just make sure I take out any burst more than 2k or whatever(dw, i put it back;)). I'll close up ports now.

Managed to get escrow integrated into the wallet interface. Still need to do a few tests on a multi-computer testnet, but you can expect a new client update tomorrow. To avoid the mess of having too many people not having updated when it goes into effect, instead of choosing a block in advance for forking, I'll be trying out using the alias system to enable it. Escrow will be enabled when I set a particular alias to "enabled". In case of any issues, it will also be disable-able this way. After it has been seen to be working for a while, future client updates will ignore the alias, and just keep it enabled.
