your passphrase IS your wallet. Make sure you have entered passphrase correctly otherwise it will create a completely new wallet if you made a mistake typing.

i found on their twitter account a link to this explaination about what has happened to another coin some days ago.

Instead of picking a block number to fork on in advance, this update will be enabled when I set the alias "featureescrow" to the value "enabled" This allows me to wait longer if necessary for more people to update their clients. It will be at least 3-4 days before this is triggered.

After updating, you will need to refresh your wallet, and possibly clear your cache if things don't look right.

This update adds escrow transactions. You will be able to create escrow transactions where you can list accounts that can sign off on the transfer, and set how many need to sign off to complete the transaction one way or the other. For example, you could create a transaction to another user and list 5 accounts as signers, and require 3 of them to sign to take action. If both the sender and recipient are honest, the transaction can be settled with either the sender releasing the funds, or the recipient refunding them. If the transaction does not go as planned, the 5 signers can announce their decision to the network. If any 3 announce decisions that are in agreement about how to handle the funds(release/refund), it will complete the transaction accordingly. Up to 10 signers can be listed on a transaction, and 1 - 10 signatures can be required for settling. A deadline and action(release/refund/split) are also set when creating the transaction, which will be executed if the deadline runs out to avoid burning the funds if the transaction is never settled. There is a listing in the wallet of all escrow transactions you are involved in(sender, recipient, or signer), that you can click on and select decisions from a drop down menu to easily resolve escrows, and there is a form in the wallet to easily create them. More details will be given on the exact use when I enable the feature.

Fantastic. I took a look at github, that was some coding to get that wrapped up, great work - You must be pursuing this fulltime. User friendly escrow only 2 months since burst went live.... omg..  this is a great coin... Everyone should try to lure more developers in, cause that is currently our major force - very competent developers.. A developer always wants to work with other very competent developers ;-)

The passphrase is both the house and the key to the house - the BURST address is the letterbox to the house. One house can only ever have one key; the locks can never be changed either. One house can have several letterboxes (aliases) so you can have one letterbox for Mining, one for business etc.

The burst address on its own is only good for receiving and requesting to receive. The passphrase is what is required to take anything out of the letterboxes or make changes inside the house.

I typed my password, then accidently add extra letter/letters. Logged in succesfully, made some transaction on my wallet, then log out.

I just noticed that http://coinmarketcap.com is now properly showing the market cap for burst. Burst is ranked exactly 100 right now.

This will drive BURST up in the short term. We will have a lot new people discovering BURST. Many people use those lists as a starting point when looking for coins to investigate.

Please notice that since the moment BURST got listed on coinamerketcap.com it's not possible to see the available supply, and therefore not possible to calculate the market cap.

I believe this is one of the reasons this coin is not recognized by investors.

It's funny because while we all laugh at this sort of attitude - its actually true. those who bought BC under 500 Sat became rich if they held. Those who bought LTC in September and sold in December became rich. Those who bought DRK when it was worth 10c and sold at $8 became rich. Those who bought STEALTH at for 500 and sold for 10,000 became rich.

Its not a pipe dream - its happened many, many times already. The only difference is 99% of traders dont have the balls to hold a decent coin when they bought it for next to nothing - which is what burst is worth now.

Mark my words. If you buy say 1 Million BURST now and pop them away for a few months, you will be an equivalent Bitcoin whale in time for Christmas.
