I never receive the confirmation mails for burstforum.com/, anyone else had problems with that? Who could I contact for a possible resolution?

I signed up over 3 weeks ago and still can't receive a confirmation email

Same here

Try again, i know someone couldn't get in with a hotmail, but gmail worked. Personnally(Personally Wink), it just worked first time with my gmail. So try with a gmail. Have i said "gmail" enough?

Edit: I never spell personally correctly!!!

calculator is not accurate, it is calculate by difficulty, but changes every time, may be you will see 6800TB at the moring, but 4800 at the after noon
the coin you mined in uray or dev pool can explain the average amount of total tb, that is accurate

Yes, I know, but having 300 burst/day with 4Tb space is far less than 3000 that calc says.

Maybe we could change the title from Burst | Efficient POC Mining   to   Burst | Efficient HDD Mining? Make it easier to understand.

I second that one!!

Last 2 days I tried dcct miner with my 64bit Linux on dev Pool1 & 2 and I didn't get any shares. Miner is saying that Server responses "Received shares" but nothing.

Don't know if theres a problem with the miner or the dev servers... I'm trying the old java miner again.

But why is the pool getting the reward for my account generated block ? That's not fair  Sad
This should be independent no ? Anyway to get a part of the reward for the block that MY account has generated ?

Isnt that the reason u join pool ? If u want block all by yourself. Solo.

I am really confused about this part.  I have two generated blocks, I got paid around 1,000 coins for each of them.  And I am a pool miner, most of my coins come in much smaller amounts.

And dev pool would be http://178.62.39.204:8121/ pool?

I can't get R4 or Blago miner to work on that pool.

With POCminer i getthis:

d:\pocminer_pool_v1>java -cp pocminer_pool.jar;lib/*;lib/akka/*;lib/jetty/* pocm
iner_pool.POCMiner mine http://127.0.0.1:8125 http://178.62.39.204:8121/

if you join the pool , that if you find a block, you will share the block with other miners who submit the shares, and if they find blocks, they will also share the block with you if you submit the shares, most of your coins is from the other miners who found the blocks.
if you solo, then you will get 9500 burst a block, but if you didn't find the block, you will get nothing

if you solo, then you will get 9500 burst a block, but if you didn't find the block, you will get nothing

OK, I'll try to make it clearer.

When I go to the block explorer at http://burst.cryptoport.io/ and look up my account, there is a green column (my balance), a red column (what the pool sends me), and a blue column on the left.  I have two generated blocks in the blue column.  I got paid for those two generated blocks over in the red column.  I didn't get paid 9500 coins like I mined them myself, but I didn't get 50-250 coins, either, the amount I would normally get mining.  I got ~1,000 coins each for those two generated blocks.

And I am a pool miner, most of my coins come in much smaller amounts.
if you join the pool , that if you find a block, you will share the block with other miners who submit the shares, and if they find blocks, they will also share the block with you if you submit the shares, most of your coins is from the other miners who found the blocks.
if you solo, then you will get 9500 burst a block, but if you didn't find the block, you will get nothing

So sad. I mined 3 blocks on pool when i mined(v1)...only got 11k burst for it(block reward was still @10l)

Is there ANY pool that pays even close to calculator ?
calculator is not accurate, it is calculate by difficulty, but changes every time, may be you will see 6800TB at the moring, but 4800 at the after noon
the coin you mined in uray or dev pool can explain the average amount of total tb, that is accurate

Yes, I know, but having 300 burst/day with 4Tb space is far less than 3000 that calc says.

in dev's pool, i can mine 800 burst with 2TB few days ago, but don't know how much recently, didn't see it
Thank You!

And dev pool would be http://178.62.39.204:8121/ pool?

I can't get R4 or Blago miner to work on that pool.
first question:yes
second:, i use the dev's miners, that java based

With POCminer pool V1 I get this:

d:\pocminer_pool_v1>java -cp pocminer_pool.jar;lib/*;lib/akka/*;lib/jetty/* pocm
iner_pool.POCMiner mine http://127.0.0.1:8125 http://178.62.39.204:8121/

[WARN] [10/02/2014 10:05:21.946] [default-akka.actor.default-dispatcher-2] [akka

Delete the last / of pool link.. so http://178.62.39.204:8121 and not http://178.62.39.204:8121/

MY God! Thank You. That makes the difference Smiley working now.
