Alright, have a v2 pool running at http://178.62.39.204:8121/
The v1 pool will be converted to v2 in a day or 2, but setting up the migration would have delayed this release, and only running that one on v2 could result in a dangerously high portion of network hashrate on one pool, so it's better to split it for now anyway.

Usage:

You will need the pocminer_pool posted previously when the v1 pool was launched: https://mega.co.nz/#!7hwHQJLZ!-waC7CwWeMStkdAwjEVbew1fN_YqeZDRWMWfCylaNPo
Reward reassignment has not been integrated into the wallet gui yet, however an extra html page was included in the 1.0.3 release that you can use. http://localhost:8125/rewardassignment.html
Below where it says set reward recipient, fill in your passphrase, and put the pool's burst- address where it says recipient, and submit. This will have a fee of 1 Burst. It should come up with a page of a bunch of details you won't care about if everything is good.
Once the transaction is in a valid block + 3 confirms, you should be able to use the pool. You can check the users list on the pool to make sure that your numerical account id is there(your generate address)
Edit the pool's ip/port into the run_mine file for pocminer_pool.
Rename or move your passphrases.txt file, since pocminer_pool will try to solo instead if it sees a correct passphrase for those plots.

Starting target deadline is 75k
PPLNS
When your balance hits 500 burst you get paid.

All users who have not upgraded to 1.0.3 are now on a bad fork

V2 Pool allows you to mine with your solo plots. You do NOT have to regenerate plots if you have solo plots. v1 pool users can keep mining without doing anything. the v1 -> v2 migration for v1 pool users will be transparent to them, and not require them to do anything.

hi can you help me..
when i put the pool burst address and my passphrase, im getting error like this
{"errorCode":8,"errorDescription":"recipient account does not have public key"}

You need to "activate" your address.
Tell me your address and I will send you some coins. After that send 1 back to get your public key

how to be active..
because i see i my account balance already have 19..
here's my address  BURST-KEVU-2LRZ-9U7Q-B9VLV

Then just send 1 coin to anyone. My address is in my signature
already try send 1 burst to your address..
still need some confirmation

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Is there a C miner for Windows that can solo mine?

I am using the original java miner on windows. 64 bit windows box, 64 bit java. It scans through a 4TB harddisk in not much time, even a USB 3.0  i'd say it takes less than 15 seconds.  Memory usage is a bit elevated, after running 24 hours, i have 8 java miners  (mining each their own HD) , and the java wallet on the same pc, all these java programs using from 243MB to 1584MB RAM.

I guess perhaps a C miner would use less memory. Speed is not really an issue, unless you symlink a lot of large drives or perhaps use a largish NAS or something. I would assume that the speed is limited by the drive bandwidth anyways, so C would perhaps not speed up mining more than a smallish constant.

The java miner has been seen to crash intermittedly, usually due to teporary memory shortage or something. I fixed this by running it from a batch file with a goto statement. As soon as one of my miners crash, it gets restarted by the batch file. This setup seems to work pretty well unattended, but i must admit that a few times a week, i have had to intervene, most of the problems have been fixable and due to other stuff on the computer, and won't come back.

Which is bad for investors. I prefer slow, steady increase over a long time. This is far less deceiving, and doesn't make people buy foolishly. Those people lose all their money and spread trash about burst. This is NOT good!!!

500 Satoshi would be a good price floor to estbalish - a nice 5 or 10 BTC buy wall around there sometime this week will bring dozens of new miners to the community. Stability and profitabilty and the biggest boosters to POW coins - if we can keep things on a positive trend or at least sideways around 500 Sat then we will have it made in the shade until November at least!

Yes. 500 should be the floor, but with good support on it.
I really like to invest 1-2 btc,but until i don't see a good buy support,it's too dangerous now.
Maybe within some hours...

This is true. 500 will be hit in very quick time once it ticks over on to the first page of Bittrex. expect a 2 or 300% pump before a leveling out around 500 Satoshi.

I am back people. Anyone missed me?

Yes we missed you, your pool is down!

Yeah, back up.
Caught me sleeping.

Thanks for taking care of that.

Had to restart 2 dcct clients - one Windows, other on a Linux, and neither of them recovered when it went up.
Seems dcct-miner is made for pools who are always up - as in, nonexistent pools.

Why the frell so many retards spell "ect" as an abbreviation of "Et Cetera"? "ETC", DAMMIT! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Et_cetera

Actually, I restarted the pool a few times until last night. And there were no reported problems. I think the problem is with a longer downtime.
The 1-2 seconds needed to restart the pool didn't affect anyone. I have been using dcct's and uray's miners and both worked.
Also the GUI miner on a laptop at work.

Is it just me, or pool situation is catastrophic?
With 8 Tb mining last night I got only 300 burst coins.

Tried many pools, situation is absolutely disaster.

Using R4 miner.
