just a simply question, last win wallet is not 1.2.1.2? because at the OP thread i see 1.2.1.1. in letters but when i try to donwload it i can find the 1.2.1.2 version.

I think the version bump to 1.2.1.2 occurred when Raspberry Pi 2 (armv7) build support was added and that there were no other changes to the wallet, so there would have been no reason to update the Windows wallet. I'm not entirely positive, but I believe that's all that took place and I assume Joe will answer more completely when he drops by.
All >1.2.0.0 are just fine; but yeah, I got to get the latest compiled.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Well it seems I just got my answer, now to find out how to turn it off, or at least lower it.

You can probably just mute the miner in the Windows sound mixer, since it allows volume control on a program-by-program basis.

It was the forum, I just turned off the "notification of 1st unread message". The miner just has the usual fan noise. I just couldn't figure it out till I was sitting here waiting for it. All is good now. Cheesy
Edit. Wrong again, found block on the pool.Huh And I should have listen to feldenthorne.

Oi overhasher !

Who's a naughty boy then?

Once again ... did someone mention spanking? Cheesy

That does look strange, though large variation of hash over time is a fact.

@all others, trying to look into average hash; if you got the average over 250 kh/s, you will be warned. Please observe your hash and pull down little bit to make sure it stays in a safe level.

I haven't touched my rigs for days and just keep them running. On average I should have 230 but you will see it drop to 150 on the pool sometimes too so you just cought my rigs on a lucky streak Smiley

You may need to do other tweaking to get to the best safe level. Naturally you'll want the highest hash possible but, dropping 1 thread might not work either for you. The best way I can think of to describe it it that its like over clocking (but in your case under clocking). You just haft-to watch you hash and find the best results. If you can under clock it would be a win-win for you (power consumption verses profit wise). A little work on your end will net you more than just letting your rig mine. But once you have it sorted out it'll be business as usual.  Also it is nice to see some one that is capable of higher hash rates lowering them for the better of the community.

We could certainly do with some restraint being shown by one or two miners on Noncepool. The excessive hashrate coming from there is stopping the block rewards going any higher right now and there is room for improvement, but in the meantime I must say that I am a lot happier today than I was just a few days ago.

While we are still increasing the number of people mining XMG, there is still room for some big miners but even so, hashrate figures of over 1 Mh/s do look slightly obscene and are definitely a problem. It will not be too long before there is no room left for big miners hopefully. To their credit, I have noticed that a few bigger miners are distributing their hashrate across two or more pools and supporting the smaller pools, which is community-spirited and admirable.

Just a quick heads-up for anyone in the UK.

Bitcoins are very cheap to buy in UKP at the moment.

If I have read the market right, the price of XMG is going to rise steadily for a while now.

You might want to buy some Bitcoins and then buy some XMG with them.

No, I am not a market tipster or anything and this is not an instruction, but it seems like a good idea to me Wink

In the UK, the easiest way to turn UKP into BTC is via https://bittylicious.com/.

No, I do not have shares in this company or anything, it's just a fact.

Have a nice day Cheesy

Yesterday 111magic came by at our teamspeak, it was a very nice conversation.
After some introducing we talked about the XMG project that we the fruitclan are busy with, it was a very nice conversation and we showed 111magic what we are planning to do and it was great to hear that 111magic loved it to.
This uniek (we think it is) project will be hard, funny and rewarding, and for the most of you it will be a challenge. Wink
We are now working on it everyday with a least 3 persons and we hope to release the project in about 13 day`s. Grin
