It's standard.. price and volume go up then out come the shills. It's simple just click *ignore = problem solved. Otherwise you get this:

Stop paying attention to them, they don't come hear to discuss, they come here only with the attempt to smear us, and get themselves some advertisement for their premined scam in order to make some BTC. What does it help to discuss with either someone who is an idiot, or in the best case someone of bad faith?
If they realize they can't harm you they get tired and eventually fuck off.

People calling SDC community members trolls when they try to get informations about a new coin that seems odd in order to save other people's asses are just uneducated and can't make the difference between a legitimate project, with tech savy members in love with technology VS rip off only there to steal naive trader's BTC.

Zerovert is trying to get hyped using the "first zerocoin tech" as a branding to sell premine when all they actually got is very gross shit work they dare to call revolutionary.

Well said. Why bother wasting energy formulating replies to people that are embittered and clearly in over their heads in this space anyway.

For those who missed whats coming Shocked

IMO, this jpeg should be erased from everywhere, lest the more knowledgeable anonymity crowd think this is overpromising / pumping at best or a huge scam at worst.

Ring signatures and zero knowledge stuff already have a lot of bloat... now imagine if you combine these two together and also issue 1m blocks... the bloat would be such that the coin would be 100% DOA from the specs alone...

1m blocks, I meant 1 minute. Sorry for the misunderstanding. But the point remains... ring sigs + zk together in a sustainable non bloated coin? Seems extremely hard to envision.

For 99% of the people, more specs promised = better pump material. For anonymity investment veterans it smells like snake oil, so they prefer more "realistic" claims.

Let's wait to hear from the Dev on this.
Alternatively the testnet shall reveal more…

Snarks will replace and will augment Shadows zk implementation long before anyone feels the effects of bloat. The bloat is a short term issue and is prunable. There really isn't an issue with it, its far better then any cryptonote solution. So personally i'm not concerned.

The main fact here is that its fast, functional, easy to use and secure. It is all of those things right now in private testing. So sit tight, you will understand when you see it. You do however bring up valid points but all of which are not as dramatic that would require Shadow to "erased from everywhere" because it will be "100% DOA from the specs alone"
I encourage you to wait until the specs are at least published before speculating heavily on what you feel will turn you or others off. I believe the talented (proven) devs have not worked their asses off for virtually nothing to just deliver something that will be 100% DOA.

They have earn't that respect and have earn't that trust. They don't owe us anything and they don't hold a premine and the market cap is nothing. So there is no motivation to rush out some crappy, half assed implementation..Feeling me?

I rather like the DRK guys and I hold some DRK. At the very least they engage in good discussion and ask good questions.

This thread is a disaster, what the hell

So how are you this evening?

Pretty good man. I just wanted to check on shadowcoin, but then see all this. For once I'd just like to see a thread that's not just a slur of accusations and counteraccusations.
