Bitcoin will be alive and kicking long after EURO demise, and it all will not take that long.
The question is only: Will you find anyone who takes this bet? I'm already taking this bet by investing most of my euros in Bitcoin

The question is only: Will you find anyone who takes this bet? I'm on the same side as Vladimir. Bitcoin will outlast the Euro and the Dollar. I certainly agree. For the Euro, anyway. That's my point: Who will bet against near certainties?

I somehow think that the Euro disaster will take longer than expected. From what I've heard TPTB would like to last till at least till they got through with the American Union. So they can then phase in a world currency to replace the amero and the euro.
So in that respect the Euro collapse is tied to how long the dollar will last in respect to PM. So what I would propose is think of a way to back up bitcoins with private stacks of PMs and make it verifiable in some way.
Im even more happy we have bitcoin when I think about the alternatives.

Coins are staying in cold storage until well above $10. Hope you bears are enjoying paying the spread on the way up.

Nice swing.
I just put in about ~$1,500 in bitcoin, with a few more grand to come behind it.
Yeah, I'm not kidding.
Line up those asks, I need to empty the order book.

I'm not sure what it is you want us to conclude about you from this. You do know that, as small as bitcoin's market is, $1,500 is not an enormous volume? Why would we think you were "kidding" about such an amount? To "empty" the order book to its 2012 high, $7.12 would cost you about $350,000.
