For those of you who want to see BitStar listed on another exchange  >  https://www.crypto-trade.com/voting
jakiman got the voting started several weeks ago. You do need to
register and complete 3 trades to be able to vote 1X per hour.
Paid votes are accepted as well.

0.15 BTC of payment votes should pretty much guarantee the addition of BITS with both BTC & USD trading pairs. (need at least 150 more)
I've voted at least 100 times by myself. Grin Grin Grin

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Just a heads-up regarding a phishing email doing the rounds. I recently received one purporting to be from Crypto-Trade with the following contents:
Quote from: Crypto-Trade phishing email
Hi CryptoDevil,

Someone tried to login to your account with following information :

-IP: 146.165.251.141 on Thυгsday, Aυɡ 21, 2014 1:48 AM fгom Sacгamento, USA.

Was this yoυ? If so, ρlease disгeɡaгd the гest of this email.

If this wasn't yoυ, ρlease follow the links below to keeρ yoυг Crypto-trade.com accoυnt safe:

    Chanɡe yoυг ρasswoгd
Uρdate yoυr accoυnt ρassword гeset info

Check Yoυг accoυnt

Regards,

Crypto-trade.com

I draw your attention to the highlighted parts, which actually link, not to Crypto-Trade's website but to googledrive, clearly indicative of malicious intent. As with all 'click here to log-in to your account' emails, assume it to be a scam attempt until you know otherwise.

WARNING!!! Check your forum URLs carefully and avoid links to phishing sites like 'thebitcointalk' 'bitcointalk.to' and 'BitcointaLLk'

I think I have found a good trader for the asset idea , he needs to talk to his team first (will get confirmation in about a week) and after that we would have to talk about details but he is definitely trustable Smiley

Sorry at work at the moment, will reply shortly.

poloniex is delisting us!

Yes most of the bits trade moved to bittrex when poloniex had the wallet offline for over a week a while back, so currently there is not enough volume on there.  I have sent a email to them and messaged the owner, but we may just have to push on with our backup plans instead, which could be considered better in some ways.

a delist on poloniex is not the end of the world.

its their loss if trading volume explodes.

its also offline atm. i prefer better exchanges like bittrex.

Is it not better to be on one exchange with the current volume?

Regarding Poloniex - While it's good to be on both, and I hope we get to stay on Poloniex (they haven't delisted us yet), I will say that Poloniex as an exchange appears to be on the decline IMHO. We might want to focus our efforts on getting BITS on some other exchanges as well, and not get too worried about Poloniex.

Looks like we didn't make it in the second round of supported coins for the Casheer app <sigh>. Hopefully we'll get added in the future.

Poloniex are holding off on the delisting due to being asked to by someone within the industry with the power and influence to do so, while they are in discussions with us about something potentially very exciting.

It is not a definite yet, but if it were to happen, well . . .

I have heard from somebody trusted that this is the reason.
