Monero is an orgy.
Noone shorting. 220.000 to lean, when shorters step up is when the party begins.
Do people pay back if you do loans? or is it like btcjam where like 50% of borrowers never pay back and run with your money without consequences?

It was rising too quickly for my liking. Still made some pretty good profits so not too concerned if it goes higher. I put in some low buy orders in case the market retracts.

Thing is that market is just now realizing the potential - I won't be surprised if we go 0.03 today. It's only 150k xmr away Since this is going to be the new darknet currency it simply must adjust too a much higher price.

Today must go down in XMR history : - Second highest volume traded in BTC (>70,000 BTC traded on Polo alone).
- Blasted pass ATH of 0.011 BTC that has stood for over 2 years.
- Blasted pass $100 million USD in marketcap.

It is really amazing to see XMR explode. As always you think "I should have bought more", lol However, I do believe we will see a dumb at some point. Don't get me wrong, I am a strong believer of XMR on the long term, but eventually will some bagholder cash out, once the XMR-USD get too high it simply get hard to resist. Good luck to all of us, cheers.

Agreed. And the dumbers will dumb it down about 30%. Then the markets will wise up. I give it 50/50 that the next level is higher or lower. If higher 0.0175 area. If lower, a jagged 30% down, and back to a support around ,012 again. A few hours to base then. 0175 is $10 and likely to be psychological resistance.

The XMR volume on polo is currently 50K....that is (by my rough calculation) about three times more than the sum of the volume of all the other coins combined.
I had to duck out for a few hours sleep, but now 24h volume has topped 68k btc. Wild.

I think you might be even in better position than me (I assume my average buying price is somewhere around 0.002-0.003 btc), and I do not have any excess amounts of Moneros but enough to become very wealthy if this boy starts a rock'n'roll (in my opinion it hasn't even started yet).
to be fully honest, my average is lower than you but my stash is tinier too! i'm not in the 10k range, only on the few k range (i don't complain, i'm happy with it) and it's easier to lowerer your average buy on smaller amount Sorry, if your average is below .002 it's gonna be somewhat difficult to lower it now, no matter how small the stash. Assuming you want to grow it, and not shrink it.

Sold all my XMR @ .0121 avg, 572btc worth. Will buy it all back at .005 The fact that you could do that now (572 btc sells) without tripping the market on its face is awesome.

Simple question and yes, I have looked around.
Can I make a paper wallet (generated offline) and then recover it using MyMonero? Or just use the spend keys without a wallet?
I am on Mac and cannot use simple wallet, bitmonerod etc - I can't do terminal / command line stuff either.
I have tested sending a couple of XMR to an offline paper wallet and sure - it works, but just found I have no way of getting it back. I have all keys - but need to make a wallet to recover to - and I just can't.
Pointers appreciated as I really need to get my XMR offline and safe in as cold a storage method as poss. Apologies for being an idiot - but I cannot code and have never owned a PC...
Don't laugh and I know I shoudl look elsewhere, but I have spent hours and cannot find a simple solution (for me).
