Whup whup, looks very good for XMR these days....the 2 buy walls with in sum 50k XMR's disappeared.

To sum up, at least 2 whales and at least potencial 55k orders waiting to get fired in.
I dont want to be a shorter right now hehe Cheesy
I guess it will break 021 today++

Edit:
I forgot, when the shorters get forced to close than....i dont want to predict.

That's a bold prediction, I am not really good in predicting but I like to see that happen.. Right now the price in polo is still at 0.0175, so here's what I will do I will make an order at 0.0173 then I will also make a sell order base on the price of your prediction. I will tip you tomorrow if that will happen. Grin

I can't see the price hitting 0.21 today, but half the time I say that kind of thing XMR proves me wrong. I've managed to get enough buys in at the last drop, so lets hope that it happens =)

I suggest code review, as a productive indoor activity.

Ether is the flavor of the month right now. Money that would be used to buy Monero is going to Ether instead. Next month is another story. Traders go where the action is.

Looks like we are going to get some action soonish. However, I am not sure to which direction - it looks too stable to be true. And really do not care the short term.

Sharing this very nice initiative by Athan Clark. He is creating a light GUI wallet for only 200 XMR:
https://forum.getmonero.org/6/ideas/86924/nice-gui-wallet

And it's going to be finished very soon. Quick guy! Quote: "I will have this app finished in 1.5 weeks at most. If you doubt me, put your money where your mouth is! "

I also speculate we are going sideways until friday evening.

People please exercise caution before storing any substantial amount of XMR or BTC on machine running new code. Make sure you either look into the code yourself or make sure that others have reviewed it for exploits or backdoors that could steal your funds.

I'm all for a GUI and 3rd party guis etc, but people need to be vigilant when it comes to installing newly released software, that includes the core code as well.

Do your own research and homework before storing any large amount of funds that could be stolen on a machine that has newly installed software (that includes almost all kinds of software).

Be paranoid, as paranoia can be a very healthy thing in prescribed quantities.

Amateur hour TA:

...

when GUI comes out (soon), rocketlaunch!  Grin
edit: 23/09 is a friday, another XMR-french-weekend?

...

Both are "amateur hour". In order to call a head and shoulders top or reverse head and shoulders bottom, I would at least want to see a breach of the neckline.

Concerned that blockchain bloat will lead to centralization? Storing less than 4 GB of data once required the budget of a superpower and a warehouse full of punched cards. https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/87/IBM_card_storage.NARA.jpg https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Punched_card

There was a lot of resistance at 165 its going to be an very interesting weekend. (still just holding and very relaxed Smiley) Some people maybe learned their lesson during first panic sell. It was not so big this time. Does anyone else looked at the lending market? For me it looked like only few medium shorters went in. Could become a short trap.

Indeed - the loan rates are extremely low, indicating very few shorts.

What advantage does this service offer compared to just handing out the merchants address directly to the customer?

It would also be usefull to hand over just a fiat value and receive the according xmr amount. An average merchant can't code the conversion calculation nor doesn't he want to mandate someone for it.

edit: is it mainly that this service creates a unique address for each payment and manages the relationship between "order id <-> incoming payment"?

How do the vets figure a BTC hike to about $700 would affect the $50/xmr year-end goal?
