The thing is I don't know why you waste so much time trolling Dash (and other crypto from what I've heard) do you think this somehow makes Monero look good? Let me advise you, it reflects very badly on your favourite token. If its true that you are paid to troll us then I think whoever is doing that needs to go and meditate.

Calling a scam a scam does not a troll make

But I wouldn't expect a Dash fanboy to comprehend

So good luck with your 'investment'

Considering I'm doing quite well with my 'investment' I fail to see how I was scammed. Must be some weird logic that makes sense to Monero fanboys I suppose.

Good luck with your 'investment' too

A scam may make other people rich in the process, doesn't make it less of a scam.

The monero community is aware that what we are dealing with is something very important and thus it should be as solid as it can be. There is no room for error/flaws. Dash has been fairly proven to not be up to the task to the ideal of what a cryptocurrency should be like with centralization and various other things. Monero is not a company after all. The reason Dash seems to be doing so good is because they are user-friendly oriented with insane marketing but which the Monero devs thankfully have their priority straight and want to allocate all their strengths to the coding over marketing first.

There are more features to come so marketing an unfinished coin could backfire (if bugs/weaknesses are found). Also, over time the usability and adoption of XMR will exponentially increase as the coding is done and available to more people for adoption and as the coin has proven to be trustworthy

In the end all of this is speculation but I will take my bet with Monero over Dash in the long term. I just see no future for dash in the long run.

Good luck to you.

Who is the victim of the scam?

Everyone is the victim, because when the ponzi crumbles it will happen without warning. If you take your profits and get out now, you will have a fun story to tell. But Evan himself will not escape this debacle unscathed.

And what about the monero crippled miner launch? Scam aswell ?

Yes, Bytecoin is indeed a scam, which is why Monero forked away from it.

Monero looks like it has had a classic bubble and dead cat bounce. Sentiment is now fear and denial I'd guess. Next is panic.

Exactly. Cf. BTC and meditate. Peace.

That doesn't appear to be the case at all. We might be a couple weeks away from a USD ATH.

Alternatively Dash becomes mainstream and I hold the Dash and have a fun story to tell ;-) But we all invest what we can afford to lose anyway right?

If you look again I think you find the bytecoin crippled miner 'bug' affected monero after the fork and the launch.

I'm not betting on any crypto going mainstream in the near future, but I agree it's the ultimate goal for a lot of us here. Cheers to fun stories  Smiley

Yes. Monero certainly inherited some of Bytecoin's shit, which in this case took a few weeks to discover and fix. How many coins do you think could have been nefariously mined in that short period? Remember, the reward schedule was not altered.

Well you're in luck! I had a meeting with my spiritual advisor this evening, and after throwing the bones and looking into her crystal glass she confirmed that Monero will increase on March 7th at 3:14pm UTC.

They did mention that they were talking about the block limit increasing, but hey, you asked about an increase.

Awhile back round-about these-here parts, I believe it was, some folks were talking about an expected "sling-shot effect" for HoneyPony's valuation IF/WHEN the long overdue HoneyBadger moon-launch finally happens.

Given we're only a couple percentage points shy of hitting a new BTC All-Time-High, and March looks like it's gonna shape up "interesting" here (what with the ETF decision and China and whatever else other popcorn-ready events are coming down the pike)... what kind of time frame expectation would we be looking at for this alleged sling-shot effect to kick in?

I'm just curious what may be on the program-guide for the show, is all, for me here actually SINCE I've recently re-balanced my BTC/XMR/Other and have now safely locked away everything in cold storage... definitely strapped in and waiting for "launch" here, not gonna change anything else any time soon.... just gonna be sitting back and watching the fireworks, up or down or whatever may happen.

Anyway, TL;DR :: What are you guys, more active traders, etc or "real gamblers" LOL expecting to see IF this sling-shot effect really IS real?

Ahh yes, the good old Argumentum ad PayCoin.   Cheesy

"Weird logic" = "Dash hasn't yet collapsed due to it being a scam, therefore it cannot and will never collapse due to being a scam."

For some reason, my post using Bernie Madoff an example of the flaw in that reasoning was reported and deleted.

Not sure why the mods want to help Dash scam people, but I'll be sure to give them hell for it when Dash collapses and people get hurt.

Actually, it is anonymous coin because nobody has seen the blockchain of Onecoin AFAIK.  Cheesy

That being said, Dark coin indeed has been a decent coin to hold in speculation purposes.
Seems that flipflopping between Darkcoin and Monero can increase both your Dark coin and your Monero holdings.
I say this even without holding any Dark coin (perhaps I should have bought it when it was cheap but now it is too late already I guess).

Who is the victim of the scam? And what about the monero crippled miner launch? Scam aswell ?

You realise that EVERY new algo is a cripple mine per se? Because when there is profit to be made you can be sure either the devs already got their better code or even GPU miners are already ready for a CPU coin, nothing different here. And if the Devs are fair someone with deep pockets would have hired somebody already to do a GPU miner...
Also i find it very concerning that people defending an instamine come up with sth like a cripple mine... twisted mind?

Can the trolling ping pong get done with by any chance? Getting boring. High school shit (btw this is a general comment on the last couple of pages)
Mainstream?Really? We are all living in a crypto bubble with rather grand dreams. Nobody but us and the ones naturally gravitating towards individual freedom and responsibility will find us. As for the rest? Dont think so. Thats the problem with democracy. Freedom and personal responsibility will never be voted in....btw Dash? ts ts ts Its marketing towards those that do not care and dont see the point. Apart from speculators there is nothing......

Someone that rants a whole lot better on the topic:
