Monero has recently shown excellent growth. Since November, the price rose from $ 85 to 280 more X3. You can be happy for XMR holders of tokens. I wonder will there be a correction after the growth. I want to believe it. Because it is now expensive to buy

Huh you can buy 0.000000000001 XMR.  Most can afford that.  Oh, and that correction?  We are in it, for the moment...

I find, in this space, a little bit of patience to be prudent but too much patience to be a recipe for disaster. There is no such thing as a strait shot to the moon. We will either see a correction or a consolidation soon. Even if its a brief one. Things happen FAST around here but not so fast that you cant wait 24 hours to see how it shakes out.

That's my 2 moneroj anyhow... Now worth almost 600 dollars... Kinda ruins the effect...

Rep Thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=381041
If one can not confer upon another a right which he does not himself first possess, by what means does the state derive the right to engage in behaviors from which the public is prohibited?

FEBO's 425 December high is beginning to seem a lot more likely. I hope not though, because the blowback could hurt the big picture.  300 seems safer.

Im beginning to believe some of your more optimistic predictions for mid term (3-5yrs) of 5kusd to 10Kusd May be possible!

Especially since we’re not on coinbase, still about to drop iOS, hardware wallets, bulletproofs, RuffCT, Kovri.

GloBee etc.

Future is bright.

I don't think the Monero rise is over yet, just look what is coming over the next few months. Multisig, Hardware wallet, android and iOS wallets. I can really not wait.

Bullet Proofs, Kovri, etc.  Wallets are great, and all, but look what's coming, under the hood!

hey guys , just a general question. From time to time a take a small profit , i do that by selling for usdt on poloniex, and then buy bitcoin and sent it to bitstamp to sell it there for euro. works charming so far.
but what about kraken, there i can sell it directly for euro ... is kraken any good? also the limits are higher on kraken to sell... please advise , i dont have experience with kraken

Kraken has been solid, but can't handle trading (or even loging in) when volumes are high.  With patience and planning it works fine, just don't expect too much from their servers.  Their XMR prices are high, too  Wink

I am being VERY realistic and Monero of all cryptos could very easily be the target of a ban.

In the US the Supreme Court has ruled that we have an inalienable right to privacy, and anonymity.  Roe v. Wade and McIntyre v. Ohio Elections Commission are not going to be overturned, ever.  There are no do-overs for Supreme Court decisions.

1k By May though? would require a massive leap in DNM adoption being honest thats where most of the value is going to come from in my opinion.

Agreed.  It is the earliest month of my 90% confidence interval. In other words, I consider that the probability of 1k before May is no more than 0.05.

Counter-terrorism measures is the only vector attack it can be employed politically to amend the constitution. I haven't undertaken research for mechanisms to overturn SC's decisions so I won't yet comment on that. trump has been ignoring constitutional norms since he took ground on day zero. False flags, as we saw 'elsewhere', can be pulled off to justify.

On a different dimension:

Regulations for BTC are undergoing debate in Europe's chambers, or at least floating in their members's skulls. Regulation shows acceptance. But this is BTC, an any oppressive government's wet dream. While they would not refuse, but embrace cheerfully, this gift, same would not apply symmetrically to XMR.

Yesterday's Guardian: https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2017/dec/04/bitcoin-uk-eu-plan-cryptocurrency-price-traders-anonymity

Quote
But Sir Jon Cunliffe, a deputy governor of the Bank of England, last week said the digital currency was too small to pose a systemic threat to the global economy. He also cautioned that bitcoin investors needed “to do their homework”.

On this front, we may say for 50x, or till BTC's mcap size, unlikely any attack will be carried out.

some blah blah about another coin

A good measure of Monero's success is the amount of vultures that are coming to separate fools from their XMR...
