What will happen when all the coins are mined soon?

The next update will have a fork to drastically reduce the block reward to keep the coin minable for a longer period of time.

if the wallet is encrypted they would have to know your password to send the coins to another wallet so you should be ok . Back up the wallet dat and encrypt it you should be fine. Smiley

True. However the drawback is then you cannot stake the coins to get interest.

Now if the devs could do a POS with an encrypted wallet; that would be awesome.

Do you mean that I won't be able to encrypt my wallet after POS is applied?
Is my encrypted wallet going to work after POS is applied?

Yes you'll be able to encrypt your wallet.  And yes the wallet will work after PoS.  Not sure why people are asking these sorts of questions when there are a lot of coins out there that are PoS.  You just can't stake while the wallet is locked so you have to unlock it when you want to stake.  Pretty standard stuff.

Your encrypted wallet will still work.

What I meant to say is that I would like to see a wallet where we can still stake even if it is encrypted.

I bought a bunch more in the 1400's and I am quite happy with that... Heck we are still in the basement with regards to the price!! I am very happy with my 200k+ stake and now it's hold and support with maybe a little trading sprinkled in for fun!!

Cheers,

Lets get some movement happening before the upgrades, everyone do their part and start contacting Merchants/Services regarding LitcoinDark !

P.S I just submitted a request for LCTD to be added to www.coinpayments.net for the next round of Coin Voting.

So long time without a serious movement. Other coins have good up and down, I can make profit from them daily. But LTCD has not this up and down. it's like a direct line  Grin
This is not a fud but a fact. I have 200k LTCD myself.

That's called a range... True there isn't much volatility in the LTCD market but that's because the holders are holding... If you are looking to day trade I am sure there are better markets but once this coin takes off and the coins start to get spread out it will start to rock and roll with the best of them!! First... To the moon... Then mars...

Ghosty
