Well I don't know where the other 6BTC or so came from, but what a nice surprise.

Dear user trying to log in with the username "immaminer", you cannot use anything but a bitcoin address as your username on this pool.

immaminer you are still trying to log in unsuccessfully

In addition, dear user trying to log in with the following:
1N8CDMDK6yhsmRW9k1bHJTGLnzwbbz9RPn1N8CDMDK6yhsmRW9k1bHJTGLnzwbbz9RPn

It appears you have input your bitcoin address twice and it is invalid and you are unable to mine.

I have had two AntMiner S3's pointed at solo.ckpool for about 5 months.  I have noticed that recently my stats from solo.ckpool (best share) reset several times a day.  When I started that only happened about once a week.

Any Idea what is happening?

My Antminers show up time of 19 and 24 days, with best shares of 4,262,251,062 and 209,041,882.
The worker pool stats show best shares of 4,171,598   and 2,186,674.

Thanks,
Les

So here is the question I would like to know, do we all work on the same block & whoever finds that block gets the full reward or are we all working on individual blocks ?

We all are individuals competing with the network.

Your shares, are your shares. Not a pool's shares.

Hope that helps.

you compete against the entire world of btc and if you hit a block it is all yours.

the machine above is my s-3 using ⅓ of its hash to mine at this pool.  I am competing   against  340,000,000gh with my 140,000gh for the current block

i have a 140,000/340,000,000 chance of hitting the current  block

So here is the question I would like to know, do we all work on the same block & whoever finds that block gets the full reward or are we all working on individual blocks ?
Everyone on the planet (except during orphan races) works on the same block.
As soon as someone finds it, we all shift to working on the next, same, block.

You aren't competing against anyone.

When the block changes, you continue what you are doing on the next block, your chances and luck are completely unaffected by that block change.

In fact it's exactly the opposite: when you find a block you are, then, possibly competing against anyone else who also found a block with the same height at about the same time, competing to see who's block will be built upon by the next block height found, i.e. who's block wins and who's block is orphaned.
This is why you needs a very well connected node to the network if you mine to it.

If you use your bitcoin as a wallet (and everyone should run a bitcoin) then the connectivity isn't all that important.
If, however, you mine to it, then the connectivity is crucial.
It's not at all unexpected for a home solo miner to lose orphan races, or even to be mining old blocks that will, of course, be orphans.

yep  I have 1 machine with 3 pools two are workers at btcguild and 1 is to this pool.

same location has 3 other s-3's all to btcguild.  as top choice and some rollover pools as second and third choice.

so I have about  1480gh to btcguild and 140gh to ckpool.org

These are in a lost cost for power locations 3.4 cents a kwatt for summer price  2.6 cents a kwatt for winter price
