a question..
I have 20 rigs on mining rig rentals as cafeg..

I've just sent 4 of the s3's over to ck's solo pool hopefully to get lucky Smiley

Is it better to send the rigs direct to ck's pool instead of going through mining rigs proxy ?

MRR's overhead is quite small but unless you really need MRR between you and the pool for some other feature then I would always recommend the most direct connection regardless of where you mine as every tiny bit of latency matters in the event of finding a block to avoid losing a potential orphan race.

Thanks for the tip ck,
Changing them to direct now.
Hopefully I'll get lucky Smiley

Sure thing. I also forgot to mention that it means you are always working on new work as soon as possible whenever there's a block change on the network and wasting less work.

Im Talking about other side  THE LUCK
There is no secret to luck. You are gambling and there is no way to make luck. You are only lucky or unlucky after the fact.

Ck I am not sure if PrivacyBTC understands the concepts of solo mining.
Yes I understand but I'm trying to be blunt about the luck fact and not give people any illusions about what it means to mine solo. i.e. it's somewhere between lottery and gambling depending on how much you pour into it.

What do you think is the approx total Rental hash available ie via Nicehash, westhash, mmr, betarigs and mintsy?

I think I'm right in saying that the top 6 on MMR are also the top 6 on betarigs & maybe nicehash.

Westhash stays around 1.1PH total, Nicehash stays about 3-4PH and MMR stays roughly 5.7PH, so thats about 10PH or roughly 3-4% of the network.

plz answer with correct or false

That's what I worked out on, but the thing is how many of the Big Rigs on MMR are actually on Nicehash.

I suppose there isnt really away to no this?

Assuming that all 10 pools are equally well written and providing work for you to hash, it doesn't matter.  What matters is the total hash rate you throw at it... be it 1PH/s in 1 pool or 100TH/s in 10 pools.

This is correct. It does not matter how many miners or which pool you connect to. As I have stated many times on this thread, only the total hashrate of all your miners matters. It does not matter if you have one supermining machine at 1PH or 1000x1TH small miners or 1 big worker or 1000 small workers or 1 big account or 1000 small different accounts, or if you mine here or another pool, or on one pool or spread it over many pools, the chance of finding a block is the same. Only badly written pool or miner code or badly managed miners or pools can decrease your chance. Nothing can increase your chances any more than the total hashrate. Only the current bitcoin network difficulty and your total hashrate matters.

i think you have the word solo confused..

a larger POOL does have a greater chance of finding a block than a smaller one.

but this SOLO POOL does not work like conventional pools in the fact that we are not pooling up the hash rate to work on a block as a team.. each share is submitted individually, if it has a block in it.. the one who submitted it keeps the 25 bitcoins.

thanks  I have decided to do small orders pointing about .2 btc each  shot 1 or 2 times a week .

I can deal with a loss of .2 or .4 btc.

I can't deal with a big 3 to 7 coin pop like I did last week.
