Well i used to worry about the heat since i'm in south Fla. last sumer i ran 16 s1 and and 6 s3+ in a room with no ac just a 1600 cfm air handler drawning 95 degree Farenheit from one side and blowing it out of the other the temp. in the room during the hovered at around 107 degrees F. and they never shutdown, based on wht i experience i will say don't worry about temp at least Bitmain products, sorry i got a little long winded Wink

No context, maybe?

A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.
Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?
A: Top-posting.

Sorry old worn out miners that are being rented out by the renting company really sixty nine pieces of hardware to achieve 46Th/s  Huh

many s-3's are mining in free power spots or low cost power spots.  46th = more then 90 s-3's

I mine with 3 s-3's in a 2.4 cent power cost spot. they will earn  over the  power cost until a diff of 150 at a price of 200

I down clock them to make them quiet and to be able to run 3 at a gh of 1200.

so punch in :

1200gh
950 watts
 240 usd a coin
and 2.4 cents a watt

these  3 earn 60 usd a month

fully paid off a long time ago. I think they will earn until the halfing.

BTW since I always ran them at 400gh since july of 2014 they are not that worn out at all.
I am hoping these set the record for longest running s-3's still earning money. Since I started mining these late july 2014 and they are batch 1 they just may do that.

What i am trying to state is that there has got to be a good reason why ,Bitmain,KnC,Spondoolie,Bitfury have spent millions i R&D in chip development to keep up with network diff, and IMO none of  us renters have a certifiable way to really know if we are renting hardware or an algorithm???
