you have to make one, in %APPDATA%/Bitcoin/

Also, it seems there's a -onlyblocks option now, to stop transactions from eating bandwidth.... that alone reduces 80% bandwidth requirements. (although to see a payment, you have to wait a block).

Looks like a major connectivity issue at the data centre. De is still working but obviously stats are offline.

EDIT: I've temporarily put the old DE only stats server back online at de.ckpool.org until the master pool connectivity is resolved

They answered you pretty clearly that yes, they support newly minted coins, i.e. a generation transaction.

There are some posts in the forum that show how much bandwidth a full node uses, plus there are ways to limit traffic to reduce your bandwidth, try a search for those threads.

I'm pretty sure you could get by with a light wallet like Multi-bit and be fine. That still lets you control your coins, but you don't have to run a full node to make it work (IIRC).

Do you guys not have computers at all? Anyone mining should have their own wallet. Period. Not some rent-a-wallet from some online supplier that can just take your coins and claim "Oops, dey got stoleded. Srry!". Run Multi-bit and it takes about 8 mb of space. Run Bitcoin core if you have space and bandwidth to run a full node, then use Armory for a secure wallet. It's not rocket science.

I understand where your mind is at, but that is not the point, everyone has their own choices, what people are trying to determine is if in fact coinbase.com accepts generation transactions or not and I was asking if anyone that used a coinbase.com wallet that found a solo block received their BTC to prove that statement or not. Knowledge is always good.
