I have 20TH pointed at the solo pool I can't get to right now but ...
I sidehacked my S7-LN the opposite direction, it runs at a rip roaring 3.6+TH and heats half my house.
It's pointed at the test net now
Did what? Lol

Welcome, all cold weather heater miners, and thanks to the 200TH of miners already on the test pool!

Alas every freaking time I've been offered mining gear is just before summer and electricity here has always been really expensive so I only get to mine in the worst possible conditions for a short period with the latest gear till diff takes its next hike upwards. I'm currently dumping my one A7 onto the test pool myself and am already undervolting it to keep it quieter, cooler and more efficient. Running it at the lower voltage also makes its noise much more tolerable for indoor mining if you're looking for a new heater.

Yea just went the other way with the Ma, I paid a friend to come do it but I believe it was 720Ma

Runs great I have another one too but it's not as fast, it does the other half of the house, when I solve this block I'll be buying Avalon 7's

I hope it's quieter than an S7 at full tilt ?

Thank you for your solo pool CK, also thank you for your work for the community. I hope your Avalon wins !

That's my little 300$ miner there cranking away

When will the new pool become the only pool?

Will it happen slow?

will my new stats always be at user2?

What is segwit?

I tried reading about it but there isn't much I can understand

Silly questions most likely but questions.

Once the test pool has proven itself working properly by finding a block, the main pool will be updated to the code of the test pool and the test pool will be shut down. It will happen very quickly after notification on this forum and is an instantaneous process. Existing miners will be redirected seamlessly without needing to do anything with effectively no down time and anyone that tries to mine on port 13333 will be mining on the updated main pool.

Thank you for all the work on this project, and excited that your still here with us trying to grind it out. I'm on the new pool, and will let you know.  If I hit, will donate to the cause.  Thank you again.  If Trying to find the sweet spot on my S7 for Ghashing, any recommendations?  Thanks

The fact you have reimbursed the miners... You are one man of integrity, and the reason I solo on this pool.

Have just read through last 4 pages...  Well, shit happens, but the way -ck compensated the losses seems to me something only Santa can still do nowadays, though I wasn't one of those lucky guys (have just checked my best shares just in case).
So I just wanted to run my usual Friday lottery, but now i'm a bit confused - do I have to point my ants to solo.ckpool.org:13333 or usual mining to port :3333 is also possible now?
As far as I understand it, ming to port :13333 is mining to a test part of the pool, and doing it will help to test the new code, and this is the only difference? Do I get it right?
Anyway, if I find a block, I'll help our local Santa -Ckaus with a donation.

You can mine to either port, but mining to 13333 is mining the test code with segwit activation flagged, and while the code has now been bugtested and appears to be working fine, I give no guarantees with it (though I'm almost certain it should be fine now.) If the lack of guarantee concerns you, or you wish to not signal support for segwit, mine on the regular port 3333, though once the test pool finds a block successfully, I will not be giving an option against segwit.

Well, clear and lightning quick answer.  Thanks, -ck! As I treat my solo minig once a week as a lottery, I do understand low chances of winning, so the lack of guarantee is smth that scares me least of all)))
So i'll go to 13333, hope to become the one who proves with a block the test code works fine  Cool

One more thing - couldn't connect to de.ckpool.org on port 13333, at solo.ckpool.org it works fine now. Is it just me or 13333 not available at de. ?

Test pool is only on the main pool. The de pool doesn't have enough resources to run two pools fast enough for me to be happy with their performance.

Quick question, should minors aimed at the 13333 test pool show up in the user stats or are they separate until you deploy the test code to the main pool? The iOS app and website are both showing a rate of 0 when I've had 3.2Th/s aimed at the test pool for the list 85 minutes? (As mentioned previously I'm only lottery mining 90 minutes a day)

Edit: a 5 minute / 1 hour rate of 0, it is showing a 1 day rate of 100M, which I'm guessing was yesterdays lottery attempt.

Is there still any chance an antminer s7 ln can find a bitcoin block nowadays with the difficulty so high?
Also, is the old pool still good to use?
Thanks in advance, have a great day.
