I just join to BTCGuild, and i have on question
where can in configure my minimum "btc" to send me a pay??
Thanks
I think you have to manually request payment. I could be wrong though. Where can i do that?? When you have confirmed rewards over 0.01, a button will appear next to your reports labelled "Pay Me Now". Click and you're done.

No, but older clients won't recognize anything beyond x.xx and in fact, those amounts would be lost for various reasons if sent/recieved. Also, the current default transaction rules for the bitcoin client will require a 0.01 transaction fee unless... the block is currently under 27kB, in which case, the transaction will be free the block is currently more than 250kB, in which case, the transaction fee will increase until the block size reaches it's maximum size of 500kB, at which point transaction fees will be 5x the normal amount. So as you can see, until it is sure that everyone has upgraded their client, its safer to just store any remaining balance beyond x.xx for a later transaction.

It seems like these attacks on the other pools also occur at the same time as extra long rounds.
Since the shares are being sent back to the pools in plain text is it possible that golden shares, i.e. the block solutions, can be intercepted and intentionally not forwarded to the pool whilst most are let through to give the appearance of normalcy, albeit flaky?
This would effectively take the pool hashrate off-line from the network.
Are there any plans to secure shares forwarding to the pools for the miners? Some of those shares are now worth $500, wouldn't want to lose that in transit would we?

Having problems now....
Every few minutes in the last couple hours I get one of these errors:
"Warning, miner queue is empty, miner is idle" "Disconnecting to server" "Connecting to Server"
The other error I just started getting quite frequently is:
"Unhandled error in Deferred: Unhandled Error Trackback <most recent calls last: Failure: twisted.internet.error.TCPTimedOutError: TCP connection timed out: 1006 0: The operation timed out:"

Thanks for setting up such a fast, stable pool Eleuthria. btcGuild is a pleasure to use, and very profitable! I've been with you since ~50GH, enjoying watching our pool grow and develop. Suggestions: 1) Add a Hall of Fame for top donors. I've been very unlucky with solves and would like another chance at recognition. 2) Add a Hall of Fame for most dependable workers, for the same reason as above. 3) Award dividends and prizes for those placing in any of these categories, to encourage loyalty. 4) Strongly discourage pool hopping, either with a share decay rate, or the (harsh) bright line of puddinpop's proposed "contributed" distribution method" described here: Puddinpop's pool software allows the server to choose between "connected" and "contributed" distribution methods. In contributed mode, it behaves somewhat like slush's pool: every hash you calculate is counted, and the block reward is split among everyone according to how many hashes they calculated. In connected mode, the block reward is spit among currently-connected nodes only, according to the hash/s that they were contributing at the time.
I wish puddinpop's server would become popular again. It's open-source and built in such a way that miners can actually see what the server is doing on the network side (you download the full temporary block). Unfortunately, running the server is CPU-intensive, and probably it could not sustain the number of miners that slush's pool has now.
5) Add NameCoin (namecoin.btcguild.com:9098) support and a free members-only NameCoin<->BitCoin exchange. I'm sure you are already very busy, so I'd be happy to throw down and invest some of my own BTC if that would help git 'er done. Now that the basic services are stabilized and robust, let's keep btcGuild light years ahead of the competition!

Pool will be going down for approximately 1 minute to get the new pushpool deployed. The long rounds have shown the weaknesses in the current DB scheme when it comes to providing real-time statistics. This new update is addressing that issue, which may have been the culprit for some miner idle errors earlier during our 2.8m round.

Thanks, let us know when everything looks good and I'll bring my rigs back. In the past couple hours I only got 10-20% less M hashes reported in btc guild, because of all the idle problems and random connect / disconnects.

The pool is still down because all you miners are effectively DDoS'ing it with legitimate reconnect requests...trying to get it back up ASAP.

Unknown. Would help if people either halted their miners or pointed them somewhere else for a little little bit.

Yep, but the website is not responding. I can live with that for now. I was just going to reset my counters ... I am about to bring a third worker online though, so I hope it is up soon.

It's back up.
It looks down from here, and is down according to downforeveryoneorjustme.com. [ posted at 00:32 GMT ] Edit: The web site is down, the mining server does seem to be back online.
