And I already have had a miner idle message:
Quote

02/06/2011 19:32:45, warning: job finished, miner is idle

Sad

Site is back up and running and quite snappy Smiley

Good job!  Everything looks pretty good so far.  Had one idle for a few seconds, but that is still bound to happen and probably a lot of miners reconnecting to the pool.

The site is back up, some stats are a little off right now due to the change.  Some display errors (estimated rewards not increasing/decreasing for example) are to be expected for the next half hour to an hour.

I'm guessing "Rewards Summary" and "Worker Summary" are temporarily broken?

Hash estimates are back up apparently.

Share estimates and reward estimates are still not working.

Before your alarms go off:  Yes, we found a block.  It's reward is being delayed slightly due to the massive changes in DB storage.  It WILL be calculated within the next hour, and none of your share data was lost.

Miner speed is an estimate over 15 minutes, same as always.  Since the pool was down, give it time to average out.  It'll always have variance (a 420 MH/sec miner can easily swing between 320 and 520 for example).  I really need to just remove the column since it's just a measure of your miner's luck.

No, please don't remove it!  If you must, rename it to Worker's Luck or something.  Tongue

All pools show it and it is an interesting stat.  It does surprise me that people don't seem to understand the difference between the hashing rate reported by their miners and the hashing rate reported by the pool.  Having said that, please don't remove it  Cry

Maybe at some point, an explanation of what it really means and how it is calculated and why it varies can be added to the site somewhere, or if it can be made terse enough, perhaps over the rate themselves as tooltips.

The reason is the pool estimates your hash rate based on the amount of shares over a given time.
Your miner doesn't report the current hashrate to the pool, that would use up too much bandwidth, as the hashrate is constantly changing.

All the display bugs should be fixed now, but post them if something looks very off.  We found a block just minutes after coming back online, and it has now been calculated properly.

Reset shares/stales is showing 0 for everybody right now, and this is a known issue.  The new pushpool update will allow me to keep track of your reset stats without keeping track of all the previous shares.  It should be working properly in the next half hour.

I know it's been broken a while, but now it's back and working perfectly!  Resetting your worker stats will now properly show your worker's statistics since resetting, even if the actual share history has been purged due to age.

Anyone know this mysterious person who's ranked number 1 on BTCGuild? This person is generating almost 10% of the bitcoin in each block recently at 580-600 GHash. thats like 58-60 GHash!

Thanks for updating the software and keeping such a great place running!

Please don't take people's advice and change it so that if your worker disconnects frequently or is disconnected at the time the block is solved you get less/none - I have a wife, kid, and a shitty internet connection at my place, and any one of those three factors combined with system lockup could cause one or all of my workers to be disconnected for minutes to hours (if I'm sleeping or at work), and I don't want to lose out on the shares that I processed before being disconnected!

I had to Hide the inactive workers at the bottom of my list, to get total hashrate to report correctly.  (Even after a reset.)

Thought it was a cache issue for a while, but figured out the problem by comparing mine with a working stat sig.
