There is no problem.  Everyone's shifts look like that because it has been more than 10 shifts since we have found a block.  You need to read about how PPLNS works.  We get paid when the pool finds a block and it is based on our work over the last 10 shifts so if more than 10 shifts have passed since we have found a block there will be shifts not used to calculate our pay when we do find a block.

You see Doc, it does not matter what stats you give it will always create issues for someone.  I fully understand the system but still think it looks bad to have zeros on the shift page.  You are essentially saying those shifts were worthless, in contradiction to your police searching for someone analogy.  Those shifts aren't worthless but putting a zero beside them definitely makes them appear to be. Maybe instead of zeros you should be putting something along the lines of "Not used in calculation due to long block" (or something less wordy) and make it a link to an explanation of PPLNS.

Koi is a small fish (pun intended) compared to when netdomain drops in.

I think Koi uses Bitminter as a backup pool and read something about netdomain pointing his hash here when it's not rented.

I think the problem with leaving the zeros there is you risk losing some people who don't understand PPLNS.  Perhaps leave the zeros, but make it a link to an explanation of what PPLNS is, or how Bitminter is doing it.  That way they can get some education and understand what they are looking at.  Or perhaps change the zeros to read, "Free Piece of Candy" because everyone likes some free candy.

I don't know why you would consider leaving.  I love this pool.  Longer blocks are to be expected, as are shorter blocks.  Don't loose heart when you see these.  They happen everywhere... long....short...etc... Its just part of the game.

Will be adding another 1600 or so gh/s tonight, should be putting me at 4 th/s or so.

I sat on the phone for 30 minutes one day trying to explain to this other miner how PPLNS system works and i still never think he understood it.

Anyways, the pool is working great for me I think it made me about .65 BTC +/- in two weeks of running 2.3 TH/s. The payout is way better than any of the other larger pools I tried using.

Yay! Finally got 0.0000216 BTC for my 2 days worth of computing power. That what I normally make in 2 hours when things are going normally.

Good payouts last 2 weeks, low payouts last 2 days. This is normal. Mining results vary with luck.
