Yeah, I dig the Yo application.  Its really easy and rather unobtrusively lets me know when we've found a block. I think it only "Yo"s for BTC blocks.

The live stats page (full size version) can play a sound when a block is found if you turn it on.

Yep, use it all the time ... trouble is (when I hear the sound) ... I check the computer .. is it NMC or BTC?

Bummer when it's NMC .. how about different sounds for different currency? (Just an idea).

Is it still playing the sound for NMC blocks? It's only supposed to react to BTC blocks after I removed NMC blocks from the livestats latest blocks list.

I'll check and let you know, (when did you remove it?), given the length of blocks these days they sometimes 'pop' whilst I'm away. Pretty sure it caught me out last week.

*EDIT: Well there you go, whilst I was typing that we get another block, and didn't have the https://bitminter.com/livestats/big page up.

I can't remember when I removed NMC blocks from the livestats. I think it's a long time ago.

Will be getting my Spondoolies SP35 Yukon pretty soon (hopefully) and been searching for a pool. Bitminter is my top choice so far. This will be my first mining rig and I'm pretty excited about it. I'm retarded for bitcoin and just like the idea of supporting/furthering the decentralization and the network. Hopefully I can make a couple btc without having to trade for them while I'm at it. cheers.

Wish my Nmc would exchange automatically into BTC.  Hey... Sell you my NMC.  :-)

I'd hodl it for now, NMC supposed to block reward halve next month and also Armory adding support is causing buzz. Not saying it will moon, but seems a fair bet that it will be worth more next month.

Correct, I only Yo when there's a new BTC block.  There can be up to a 15-minute delay, since I don't want to hit the API call too frequently.  To get the notifications, simply install YO, then YO me at BITMINTED and you'll be added to the list.  To unsubscribe, remove BITMINTED from your list.

Doc, if you ever decide you'd like to incorporate the feature into your core, let me know and I'l transfer the account to you.  The YO API call is a simple GET request. I currently just have it YO, though you can provide a link too if you like.

Quick question for you Doc !

I have an old BFL miner that I keep running (it's winter here) and I set the min Diff to 32 on the worker, but when it start to mine on the pool, it always start with a diff of 16 before it stabilize to 32 just after like 30 sec.

Bug or normal ?

As soon as you are authenticated the diff should be 32 if you set minimum diff 32.

Which mining client are you using?

PM me your user name and worker name and I'll have a look.

Woot! Woot!  I'm excited, my antiminer C1 is on the truck for delivery.  Now to figure out where my power supply is located.

Has the Yo app been working for everyone?  I don't think I received Yo's for the past few blocks.  It might just be me though.

Yeah, I sent it a YO numerous times, but never received one in response.  Maybe he has to add people manually.

Odd. When I logged into Yo now I started over with a clean slate by the looks of it. Had to add/yo BITMINTED again.

It doesn't YO you back when you YO it.  If BITMINTED is in your contacts, you'll get a YO on the next block.
