The variance is well within expectations, but the timing sure could have been better.  We have the high CDF part of the contest covered, let's get on with more on the low CDF side!

Wolfpack smelled the first block this morning. Let's try again.
Yeah, low CDF, that's the ticket!

I always seem to end up posting this link after particularly difficult blocks. Please read it. Or at the very least, please read through numbered points 2 and 3...

No offense but we just want to see blocks rather than read PDF files.  Points 2 and 3  read, but that doesn't make things any better.  Mathematics also hurts brain while drinking.  =)  Tons of blocks will be the best medicine to cure my hangover.

Just "Mining" my own business.

Having some more linode network problems - yeah that's nothing new Tongue
People mining to DE will have seen 2 failovers, but reconnected straight away on the next attempt, at 9:42 UTC and 10:07 UTC
Each time the connection has come back within a minute, so after a failover you will have reconnected on the next try.

75% of all hashing power over last 24 hours coming out of china big three. How do we compete. Did anyone notice the jump in BTCCs hashrate

I wonder if we are under a block withholding attack from rentals
That would really suck
I have had 200th rented for a month 24/7 with no block
140th of iron has had two blocks in the same period.
On 2/6 slush says they "detected" a block withholding from ONE miner and had the miner fix it.
Really? One miner?
How do you detect other than statistically?

So, I mentioned last week I was gonna sell my S7 on eBay bc my elec costs are too high (still making couple bucks/day but worried about the upcoming having). I was hoping to get $700 (less the eBay & PayPal fees), so I'm happy it sold yesterday for $825. (Waiting for payment, so jury is still out on how this is gonna end - it's a longtime buyer with good reviews, so I'm hopeful).

I'm still mining here (my miner is johnboy21) until I get paid, so here's hoping we can break this logjam before I disconnect. Gonna go make a chicken omelate for breakfast  Wink
