Moving that scale of an operation from China to Canada would hardly be a month downtime. I wonder what affect it would have on machine production as well though....
Has nothing to do with machine production, although they may have a limit on where and how many they can test before selling. And yes it would take at least a month to move everything, that includes getting the new mine all set up before anything is moved in. They've already been doing some of that for the past ... year. Apparently they've already moved the head office also.

They are riding their cash cow till the fat lady sings.

considering they're 30% more expensive than yesterday's batch in BCH terms, they should last

Guess they weren't feeling the Twitter today. Either way, we got the info out in time. I know people were sad they missed out on the last batch!

No donations thanks. The pool fee - even though it's lower than all the bigger pools - is more than enough for what I do! Your farm is part of that already of course Mine Rock on!

If you set it up correctly it will say Your account is registered and ready to mine. It also shows the username there with _worker1 added on the end when you succeed. If you can't remember your password, use the password reset. You have to have a proper email for that to work. [/quote] reset password, even though I'd have to have typed it wrong twice for it to have gone this way, but that has me logged in, up and mining. Thank you!

Does a drop in btc price usually mean a drop in hash power for btc and therefore a lower difficulty in the near future?

zzzzz I've been wondering the same thing today. I've also wondered if dives in prices like these might scare off the fainter of heart and maybe drop some hardware costs.. .lol

In that time period a lot can happen in bitcoin price.

Well there's a number of reasons not to mine on slush and always has been ... 1) They mine empty blocks - that's unnecessary and stupid - it's by design on slush - every block change is an empty block work item. 2) They ripped off all the miners in Dec 2015 and for some unknown reason a lot of the larger miners didn't mind

Hey kano, short question for the management. Are you running the pool all alone or is there any backup admin I didn't heard of yet? :-) Maybe it's obvious but I like to know anyway. I don't mind if you do all alone. I'm just curious about. Thanks for making this super cool pool!! I really like to get on our acclaim list! MINE ON!!
