You realize that there are 2 different apps and 2 different web monitoring systems that do this for the CKPool right now, right?

They all currently use Kano's API...3 are listed on page 1 of this thread and minergain.com does it also.

Not sure. I have the ckpool app installed and it pushes a notification if a block is found but I haven't seen it push any other notifications. I can check my hashrate but I'm not notified.

If there's other apps or monitoring systems, I'd be happy to see them. As a noob I'm unaware of all the tools available and I certainly don't want to remake any wheels.

I currently get 3 notices when one of my miners drops below the hashrate I set; 1 push notice from the Apple app to my iphone; a text message to my phone from zachmonroe web site, and an email from the zachmonroe website.  I also get 2 notices each time we hit a block; 1 from the Apple app and 1 from the zachmonroe website.  I understand that the minergain web site does the same thing and I have never tried the android app so I can't speak for that one.

Well...according to a close relative who is actually an IRS person...it's income when you cash it for USD...NOT when you mine it. Same as gold bullion.

I would recommend not taking tax advice from that person.  The IRS has declared that when you receive mining revenue it is treated as ordinary income, at the time you receive it, even if you don't convert it to USD right then.

There are financial reasons, if you are hodling, to pay your taxes now on coin mined now, that will save you a lot of money long term.

And since its different in every country, and way offtopic, we can quit the tax/irs discussion i guess?

I see 3 days, past week, 1 day, and next week in your post.  Are you sure you understand how BTC mining actually works?  The math will never work to the timetable you are working with.

All pools are expected to hit 100% statistically over time and the real separation comes in 1) does the pool give transaction fees to the miners and 2) what are the pool fees.  Once you understand this concept, short term physical comparisons become an exercise in futility...they simply can not resolve anything at all.  Making business decisions like that can become disastrous.  You may as well flip a coin...it would probably give you better results.

Say whaaa?! 0.00247695 @ <4THs is what I got paid in the week prior to your post from the four (4) blocks during that timeframe. Are you saying that I would've made seven (7) times that at not-so-nicehash? Note: This doesn't even include the one Kano is in the process of working through the far and few between, rare technical issues for right now.

My guess is that you're not fully ramped up, which just means that the lookback period for the payouts is farther back than when you started mining here. You won't lose anything during the ramp up period. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised at all if after a week you'll be paid over 100% for the very shares you're referring to not getting paid enough on today.

P.S. - If you weren't here during Red October or the Jan-Feb 600% block of death, "You ain't see nothin' yet! DNN-DNN!  Ba-ba-ba-baby, ya ain't seen nothin' yet!"

P.P.S. - Stick around for another week, and I highly doubt you'll want to go back to any other pool.

the graphics I've made, to include the current pool hashrate. The Hashrate is looking good!!! Also, I spent a couple of hours making a few new ones, and we've been getting some decent amount of traffic.

It was less than 200% as well

The reward for this block wont appear until I've finished fixing the missing shift, just before the payout - I still need to fix the missing shift and I'm setting that up now on another server to generate the missing shift data (charlotte) and correct the belldandy shift.

Anyone who looked closely enough would have noticed that the beldandy shift says it's twice as long but not twice as many shares
(and charlotte is missing)

The reward of course depends on the shift data, so I have to get the shifts correct before generating the rewards, for doing the payout.
It should be done in time for the payout

I've uploaded the missing charlotte shift to the live database.
I'll need to restart KDB (again) to bring that shift data into the system.

Sorry for the short notice, but that will be when the current shift completes and updates which will be in the next 5-10 minutes.
This also will fix the block Diff% since it was missing a shift in the calculation - it's a few % higher - but still just under 200%

KDB restart as soon as the current shift updates, in the next 5-10 minutes.
No mining will be affected, only you'll see lotsa zeros and ?s on the web site during the KDB restart.

Nicehash currently shows 30 day average at 0.001 BTC per day for an S9 compared to 0.0017 per S9 according to Minergain.com numbers

Don't forget that's before Nicehash's 5% fee - you'd be earning ~40% less

Also the percentage withdrawn by these intermediaries for transactions is not taken into account. Is someone else working with nicehash after their brazen deception of their users?
