Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

I am just about to join the kano pool with more than 50 TH/s, but what's the difference in payouts to for example slushpool in average?

On average, you get 1.1% more than Slush.

Hello, I am ramping up nicely and it was nice to have such a block filled weekend!

My question is regarding Dragonmint T1 AsicBoost. I see that there are a few pools that support it currently. Will Kano be supporting AB or will I have to point them somewhere else when they arrive?

Appreciate the help and think the pool is great, keep up the marketing guys! or should I say enlightenment  Grin

MinerGain has been following both pools with some interesting (historical) analysis at https://www.minergain.com/

If you want to see actual historical difference, check out the CDT (Coin per Day per Th/s) values for slush and kano.  Obviously past luck makes a big difference on these but would give you an idea of what you "would have" made if you were mining in one place or another.

*edit - oops, I see that clgrissom3 gave the same answer!

Now, where's our block?

Relax, it's just letting all the new guys ramp up a wee bit.

It'll be here before morn...

... Just checked the shift graph and it was showing someone else's graph...weird. Refreshing a couple times fixed it...

I think that third party sites like minergain.com or ckpool are the only way.  ckpool has you set a threshold for each miner and minergain has a percentage threshold and looks at the averages for 5 minute, hour and day.

Let's all just relax... I'm sure there's no such thing as a 100PHs curse or anything like that.

We should crack a block here before too long, right? Please tell me it's gonna be okay!

I'm going through block withdrawals!!!
