... and anyone wondering about the stats for that block. 0.92113360020933 254% 1 in 12.7 Yep on any pool it's expected to have a block 254% or longer 1 in 12.7 blocks. Well done by one of our new top miners

It's not poor luck It's expected (well ... better than expected ) The last 10 and 25 blocks still average better than 100% luck.

The following question was presented to me in a PM. I'm sure someone here can explain this much better than I can. Can someone please explain this in a way that's easy to understand. Much appreciated. Thanks in advance. "I'm still trying to read and understand that 5N basics. Also what is the different between Share rate and Hash rate? Seems like it's showing my Hash rate much lower than my Share rate and my share rate is closer to my read Hash rate. Right now it's showing 968GH for Share rate and only 768 for my Hash rate which is not accurate."I quite certain they are referring to the "Workers" page under "Workers" tab. EDIT: The way I keep up with my 5N is paying attention to each payout in the blue column labeled "Your N Diff." The purple box is since I returned to CK/Kano Pool... Which see... As for the rest of his question, someone else with more experience with the pool features could explain this better. So you are running about 53th, when your n avg hit 53th you are all in.

Hi Guys,
Following is the question which might be very simple to answer for few of you guys.
I was on ck pool in month of Oct for a three weeks with hashing power - 9 TH. In three weeks my total earning around 0.2 BTC and total power on the pool was around 2 PH.
Currently i am pointing to pool. Even consider that we find 2 blocks per day i will earn less than 0.2 BTC what earn in OCT because of the total power in pool is also high.
Now say F2 POOL (Last three weeks) - With 9 TH power - every day earning approx - 0.05635440 so in three weeks - 1.1834424 BTC .
I am still trying to find correct pool or should i stick with CK ?

Congrats on the added hashes! Whose miners defected to join you? Lulz Seems some are from slush and a v.large miner, that jbravo is managing, who I have no idea where the miners were from. Hopefully he'll find a block soon P.S. I'm not disclosing anything here you can't see on the pool stats page or written in this thread

So when the whole thing is shaded red what does that mean?
It's not all shaded red The red shade is the last reward range for the last block found. My n avg is 95th. I'm pointing 130th. I guess when n avg hits 130th I'm at 100%?
Yes. Though the red shade will show you how close you were to that for the block we just found. But remember: Just remember, for all the new miners coming in The 5Nd means it takes that long to pay your shares. The ramp isn't missing payouts, it's delaying them to reduce variance. Your shares are rewarded in all blocks found in the 5Nd (currently about 4.5 days) after they are submitted. Thus they get rewarded ~1/5 of their value per block found, with an expected average of ~5 rewards (if luck is 100%) in 5 blocks That's simply how it reduces variance, each share's reward is averaged out over the (currently) 4.5 days after it. A block every 20 hours avg?
Depends on the pool hash rate. If it's 5PH, then for the next 470 blocks we would be "expected" to "average" one block every "18hr 52min 29sec" http://tradebtc.net/bitcalc.phpI say "next 470 blocks" coz there will be a diff rise after that ... ... ...

Excellent. Thank you sir. I was in 24 hours, out 24 hours, then in 72. After 24 more hours I'll be all in. After I am all in then (my hashrate)130/5000(pool hashrate) would be my payout percentage or 2.6% So 2.6% of 25btc is .650 btc per block payout. Two blocks in a day 1.300btc payout. Nice. PPS pools rip you off. Pocket any "extra" btc. Jeez.

So you are running about 53th, when your n avg hit 53th you are all in.
My present N Avg. under the heading "Your N Avg" is the following: [My N Avg. is just a little less than what it should be because of 5 x S7's disconnecting from my network for some reason for about an hour.] Block Block UTC Miner Reward N Diff N Range Pool N Avg Your % Your N Diff Your N Avg Your BTC 388591 15/Dec 19:25 25.01330967 397.075G 104hr 6m 24s 4.55PHs 1.19% 4.723G 54.12THs 0.29749001 Several of my rigs disconnected yesterday for some reason. I'm pretty sure it was due to issues with my Airport Extreme Base Station. It's gotten where I have to sometimes go into Airport Utility to the Networks tab and change the IP I have assigned to a rig just to be able to connect to that rig in my network. It's bazar to say the least. I bought a new NETGEAR Nighthawk X8 - AC5300 Tri-Band Quad-Stream Wi-Fi Router (R8500) http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B015PD3HOC?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00 I mainly wanted it for its wireless coverage area. It's supposed to reach out pretty far and it does [More so than the Airport Extreme]. I presently have its ethernet cord plugged into the Airport Extreme Base Station to more or less extend the network. When my other rigs arrive, I'm going to take the Airport Exteme offline and go only with the NETGEAR to my switch. Then configure the NETGEAR accordingly for the rigs. The Airport Extreme is going in the trash.
