I have two miners that won't reconnect to the pool. An s1 and s3. Happened about an hour ago. Not sure what the issue is, since my other 3 miners reconnected with no problem.
I'd probably need a little more detail if you want help with that

I'd probably need a little more detail if you want help with that It happened right around the the worker diff fix went in I think. As far as I can tell, everything looks good on the miners themselves, they just don't start hashing. I can see the miners hitting the pool on port 3333 through my firewall. I've rebooted several times. Nothing jumps out at me in the system logs

All my machines are moved over now, all of them. First thing I noticed right away is how much nicer it is on the miners themselves. Welcome aboard. How much hashrate are you in total, if I may ask, and what miners are you running besides the S1s? I broke it all down earlier, no biggie I got about 13-14TH.s right now. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=789369.msg14073944#msg14073944

Block by dance191! That would be his 4th on the Acclaim Board! Way to go!
Thanks, but really all the credit goes to the pool operators! I have found a couple blocks in almost as many days with ~ 320 TH/s, the luck here is really impressive... On a side note, I am working on getting a lot speed pointed to this pool in a few weeks ~ few months. There is no reason this pool shouldn't be one of the largest, it is just a matter of time. Good job Kano & CK, you guys have created something really impressive!!! The more you bring over the closer we get to 10% Sounds good Heh, the credit goes to each little piece of miner hardware that finds it's block, but it is completely random of course. But then the pool for making sure it gets out there on the rest of the bitcoin network as fast as possible Is 10% a goal or some self imposed max size? In an ideal world, all pools would be smaller than 10%. However, that isn't the world we live in. As long as there are pools that control ~ 25% of the hashrate, I can't see any reason why you guys shouldn't be one of them. Please don't say 10% will be some self imposed limit!

Kano-san has said more than once that he would want to keep the pool's max size at 10% of total network hash.

At this point we'd have to more than triple in size before we'd be at 10% There is quite a while before we get there

"Living to 80 years old sounds really nice when you are 29 years old but when you are 79 it does not sound too good." Well he lived to 84. My point is the pool is 2.5% 10.0% is very far off lets not worry till we get to 9.8% well maybe 9%

... Is 10% a goal or some self imposed max size?

Self imposed limit. At this point we'd have to more than triple in size before we'd be at 10% There is quite a while before we get there What do you then? Close the registrations and thus growth would be limited to the big players that keep expanding that are already registered? Nah, I'd close the registrations and thus growth would be limited to the small players that keep expanding Yeah just kidding. But the point would be that indeed, I would close the registrations. After that we'd see how it grows with the user base we have, vs difficulty. It's certainly not a hard limit that has no flexibility, but it is a limit at which I would intervene. i.e. we'd never get to 15% unless someone with a VERY large hash rate was already a member of the pool and pointed that VERY large hash rate here instead of somewhere else. After 10%, if over time we started heading back towards 9% then I'd allow registrations again. I'm not gonna force people off the pool, but I don't want the pool to keep rapidly expanding once we reach 10%

I'm not gonna force people off the pool, but I don't want the pool to keep rapidly expanding once we reach 10% And your reasons for this are the belief in the importance in distribution of the hash rate? (Either that or Infrastructure i guess) It sound like a good thing but that probably mean more hashrate for China, after we reach 10%, assuming we reach 10%. It would be a good example that probably would not be followed. I think the predominant desire in most pool operators is Greed. Then again all you can do is your best.

... There will also be a CKDB restart much later today to add in the code to track high diff shares in the database. I've been checking this manually using the logs, but of course having the code do it is better I'll post again when I push that update and am ready to restart CKDB, it's early morning here now, that update will be this afternoon. I will be doing this in the next couple of minutes since it's optimal to do it now and will be very quick due to the timing of the last shift summarisation. NO miners will be affected. I'm adding in the DB storage of high diff shares to simplify checking miners. CKDB Restart completed in record time 7 minutes No miners were affected.
