Hello Lengendary and Hero users. Newbie here. There is no need to explain hardly anything in my opinion. There are 1418 pages of information for anyone who really wants to learn. To lazy to read and experiment maybe you shouldn't be mining. Just my thoughts no one has to agree. +1 Might not *have* to agree but but damnit... There is this wonderful thing called "search" that way too many folks seem to have never heard of and/or are too lazy to use... I was thinking of making a 45-minute-long YouTube video of how the mining payouts and 5Nd work on Kano Pool. It would be required viewing of all new members! Nah, not really. My problem is that I am too kindhearted and always want to help. I know I should leave people to their own devices and figure things out for themselves. I guarantee you I didn't require hand-holding when I started mining. I figured it out for myself with minimal questions of the pro's. Certainly not some of the stupid questions I read on the different threads each day. And they are the same stupid questions over and over....and over. "Please help. tell me everything i need to mine. i have I-Phone. how much i make if i mine on laptop?"... I will try to point people in the direction of the "Search" function. Mine On!!

Yeah, payouts have been confirming by other pools, with that small fee I put on them, so indeed anyone who has been doing consolidation with low fees should have been getting their transactions though pretty cheaply.

Yea was nice I consolidated two yesterday and both went through at 10sats/byte. When I bought some more cables and breakout boards from sidehack was kinda sad to pay 200sats/byte but at least I knew it would clear faster. probably a good time to consolidate. my 5sat/byte tx got confirmed in 1hr or so.
Jesus I just saw this, that is awesome to hear. I might try to consolidate some more my self then.

Hats off to Akm at Cryptoboreas...sourced a power board for my lone 721, and it's running. For our plan, I'm at full production finally. I love it when a plan comes together. Mine on.

Anyone heard from Canaan on the Sept. 1 order? Mine still says on hold. Lots of automated emails. One a few days ago that changed the status of one order to "BTC address required", and someone wrote that "user X will be taking care of this, he works from A to B". That was a few days ago. In other words ... over a week later I still can't pay for my orders. At least BTC price recovered and they didn't bill me when it was $3900. But still... M Looks to me like all miner manufacturers have awful ordering systems. Hope KANO mention this when visiting them I have a hunch that they over sold their inventory. Or they have a staff of two and one works part time. Or both. M No, they have a very large office in a building in Beijing's Silicon Valley, full of chip developers, hardware developers, software developers and sales people working hard at dealing with a very large demand. Let's hope they have some new announcements coming up soon ...

I don't know if it was planned or just a serendipity, but 5ND seems to weed out a certain mindset. That may be why this forum is so congenial.
I will take it as a good thing whether it is planned or just happy coincidence.

Who's that? I visited the one that matters, Canaan In my not so humble opinion. Since the rapid rise of value of bitcoin a certain manufacturer is no long supplying the little people with equipment. That manufacturer is now devoted to mining for their own profit. The scant pieces of equipment available are due to stutters in their filling of warehouses with active miners. Canaan at least seems to be a manufacturer and focused on manufacturing rather than competing with the very miners they are supplying equipment to. I successfully received an order from Canaan and I have to say I like their miner better than the other guys in so much as it runs cooler and appears to have a better fan control. With the increase in the other companies equipment cost buying from Canaan is a fairly good deal, and, you can actually get equipment from them. Just my 200 Satoshi's opinion. dzimmerm
