So I'm pretty sure there's a bug and I got paid 2 much. My N average was calculated from when you ran all of the shifts instead of when the block was found. My N average was only 330TH when block was found but I got credit for 412TH
I'm not saying your hashrate is right or wrong but it should be the average from all of the shifts paid on that last block which was from a2www ako BTC Apr‑09 21:42:41 all the way down to 9zudx sena Apr‑03 08:16:06 (to the red line on the shifts page). It's possible that you could average your hash rate over that range to see what it should be. My hash rate would be even lower than so that still doesn't answer the issue that I think I'm having? Send a dm/pm to kano.

Are we on a average of a block a day already?
Close, current pool hash gives a number of 1 day 3 hours expected per block.

Mine hasn't gone down. Interesting, my invalids are a lot higher on this block....I think one miner had a long drop-off time on connectivity.
But let's just calm down, sip a cup of your favorite drink, and DANCE DANCE DANCE DANCE!

The question about ramp up. Do you guys think iam fully ramped up? This means i recive about 0.002 btc each block, mining with about ~23th/s https://ibb.co/kkcFMcGood or bad? Iam abit confused, though i was going to earn more, but ofcourse 23th/s is not that much =) So, say we find 20 blocks this month 20x0.02btc = 0,04 btc = 272$ / month? Why are you comparing it to USD? What if BTC dropped to 5k? What about up to 10k? Have to compare it in BTC only, then go from there. MINE ON WITH KANO-SAN!Of course we all want to increase the amount of BTC we earn, but if it is going to be profitable, it makes sense to have an understanding of what we're earning in an exchange rate as well. We might be able to pick up miners with crypto but my electric company isn't going to accept it. Neither will my hardware store when I need to make electrical upgrades. My plan is to make sure I'm covering the costs (though I may subsidize via my USD rather than trade my BTC) and hodl the rest.

Some of it is being "subsidized" by other income. You do have to pick a certain point in time for the exchange rate comparison, otherwise it's FUD with the price changes.

Your shift graph shows why. It's the average of the area in light-red - and those high spikes for many hours and your new hash rate are of course included (since the new rate started before we found the block)

DONATED. You should have it now.
Thanks to both of you for " Paying it Forward" FYI thats the reason you get the coupon.. :-)
No need to get screenshots of the purchase, we belive you.. just get the serial number, MAC address, Firmware revision, file build date. and a DNA sample and we should all be good.. No need to go to the effort of the screen shot :-)
Hey, I said there would be a screenshot so there will be a screenshot. It was just for transparency reasons so everyone else can see how great this pool is. So.....here are the coupons I received and the S7 is getting packed up to go out in about an hour. Thanks everyone!!! As soon as my BCH arrives, I will be completing the purchase. DNA sample submitted... Love you guys! S7 delivered and hashing (on Kano, of course, per our contract) love this community!

Good Wednesday morning! It's almost time to announce the winner of the One Terahash for 5Nd (1TH-4-5Nd) drawing. Eight ( Kano Pool miners took the opportunity to enter this drawing.
Before I do, I just want to say that I was pleasantly surprised that eight of you responded. I noticed that a couple of other giveaways had no entries. That also surprised me, given the level of community engagement that exists here.
Back to our drawing: All of this week's entries were placed in a brown paper bag and delivered by field mouse to the the accounting firm of Detroit and Touché. Those entries were then scanned, verified, audited, and randomized. The winner was then drawn and their name delivered to the sub-basement, where I found it on the front stoop in an hermetically sealed Helman's Mayonnaise jar. This week's winner is - drum roll, please - BSGMiner! Congratulations to BSGMiner! We're going to ramp you up a terahash! As I type by the light of the extension cord, that's a little over five days on a 1TH/s machine. I'll tighten up the rubber bands and see if we can pull it off.
For those of you that wonder how I do this, it's not a new business model: www.n b c.com/saturday-night-live/video/first-citywide-change-bank/n9701?snl=1.
That's it for now from Kano.Is(land). Time to MINE ON WITH KANO-SAN!!!

Wow... You don't know how perfectly timed this was. I won't get into the details, but I'll just say "Thanks!" This truly is the best mining community. Those that don't mine at the KanoPool and frequent this forum just don't know what they are missing.

Kano -
I saw some weird behaviour during a33hf zekken shift earlier on the SG node - miners reported finding multiple blocks and then failing over to JP - hash rate for the shift dipped from 137 to 125.
Miners are back on SG node again - is this a problem with the SG node?
Will move machines to other nodes again if this is the case.

If you are mining using NiceHash or similar then your miners will report blocks when they are not mining on the pool. You will see that their best share is way down from what is necessary for a real BTC block, so they were scamcoin blocks mining somewhere else. It is a bad idea to pay NiceHash 5% of your earnings. SG didn't have any disconnects then (though stratum did), so it was something to do with your connection to SG.
