[2018-04-27 07:13:03] Network diff set to 4.02T Ouch! Glad to get the block in beforehand Though, the block's share difficulty itself was 5.3T so would have still made it as a block even after the diff change Alas, last diff change we got a share soon after the diff change, that wasn't a block, but would have been a block if found before the diff change. Hey, not that its relevant, but could you add a fun fact statistic on the site? Like what the current best share is the pool has found? I know it has not relevance to solving blocks, but I think it would be kind of cool to see what the best share the pool currently has.

I know there's a ton of pages, but this has been asked and answered before. Kano says no.

The pool hash rate for the last day is roughly 156.43PHs which means the 5Nd 'ramp' is roughly 6days 9hrs. From https://kano.is/index.php?k=payout

i dont know why, but again i had a outage of my miners few hours ago. first pool is the dutch pool, second is the german pool. All miners have switched to 3rd backup pool.... (nicehash).
Why does this happen every time? Anyone knows? Am i the only one, or do more people expirience this??

anyone know how i can setup the 841 on awesome miner?
I got it to connect by: On the configuration page, where your pool info is, you'll see: API Allow(Default: W:127.0.0.1). In that box it needs to be W: the ip of the pc you're using for monitoring. But I'm not having luck: Personally, I am still tinkering with it. The 841's, for whatever reason, drop the signal. When that happens, AM sends out a disconnected alert. It reconnects, then disconnects, about every 1-5min. When I check cgminer it's empty, so I defaulted until I get time. I haven't tinkered again this week, I've been tracking remotely on it. AM is working, as it should, with ALL of my other miners though. As of right now, there's not much in the AM thread concerning 841's. If anyone else that is familiar with AM api, and Avalons in general, could chime in that'd be great!!! It needs to be "W:127.0.0.1,W:IP" (without the quotes) Where IP is your IP address looking at the miner. You can't get rid of W:127.0.0.1 otherwise, as you've seen, the miner will keep restarting coz it can't talk to my cgminer API. i.e. both the miner linux and AM needs to be able to talk to the API, removing the W:127.0.0.1 is why it keeps restarting. Some light reading https://github.com/kanoi/cgminer/blob/master/API-READMEWOW... have been looking for the answer to this problem for 3 months now, thanks guys =) So I can put the API Allow to "W:127.0.0.1,W:192.168.25.0/24" as well?

Guess that’s true Just seems a lot more when you look at how much BTC you should get from a month compared to previous month

I'm on the Dutch node with the German as my secondary. None of my miners failed over, so I suspect you have an issue with your Internet. Maybe try adding a DNS server that isn't your ISP's as a secondary and see if this helps.

Yes, mine are set to: W:172.16.4.0/22,W:127.0.0.1/32 Which allows me to control them from anywhere on my lan. Should probably tighten that up someday.

It slipped my memory, that, you're the one that wrote ALOT of API coding. Maybe you should add it to your signature, you deserve the credit!!!

Thanx!!! I'm gonna give it a try. Wish I would have asked 2 weeks ago. It slipped my memory, that, you're the one that wrote ALOT of API coding. Maybe you should add it to your signature, you deserve the credit!!! I've found gems like this in the above-referenced code base that reflect Kano's coding style and "hubris" (ref: Larry Wall quote): https://github.com/kanoi/cgminer/blob/master/api-example.c#L239

My secondary is not Kano at the moment (my miner not at home so i don't get to change the settings very often) so I don't know about the German node. Tomorrow, however, I will change to German as my primary node and Dutch as my second, do a reboot and see what happens. I have a feeling that the Dutch node has been a little unstable for a while as also my hashrate. Don't know if it's the miner or the node.

Yeah, assuming your home network is 192.168.25.* and your miner is at home also, that will give (all) your home computers on that same network full access to your miner API

I have a feeling that the Dutch node has been a little unstable for a while as also my hashrate. Don't know if it's the miner or the node. Yes there was a failover on the NL node at 14:19 UTC and 14:34 UTC But they were both so quick that my monitoring didn't fire off, so when that happens (rarely) I don't usually post about it. The catch with the NL node is that there's no AWS in Amsterdam, so I don't really want to remove that node and move it somewhere further away - since there's a lot of hash rate "close" to it ... though I am still considering ... ... and a failover should only be a few minutes to another kano node ... assuming that the miner code actually works properly ... ... ... ... Yes the failover code is full of fail Maybe "bitcoin" needs to find a programmer who can actually write a miner that works properly and takes pride in the quality of their code, instead of sitting around with $20-30mil and not giving a crap about it After all these years, Bitmain can't do it, nor can ck
