stop being idiots, I just received some money from intersango in my bank account today. creating panic, and anger, will not solve your problems. also, I think some of you do not even have money with them, but are just having fun with people on this thread, and maybe some of you are some lame ass wannabe traders, considering yourself the 'competition'. unless you have some actual proof they are about to 'take off', I suggest you stop predicting the future. It seems that Patrick Strateman, Donald Norman, and Amir Taaki, collectively known as Intersango / Bitcoin Consultancy, and also known as "the nimrods that were hired to secure Bitcoinica and failed miserably" are getting ready for the storm heading out their way. [...] INTERSANGO: If you have any funds with them, you might want to consider withdrawing them just about fucking now!
Could also be that you are a little paranoid? or do they also refuse to pick up the phone or reply to emails.

It would be nice if they gave us some info... Or let us know they have not run...
This is the first and post by genjix on the matter, 11 days ago: Like I said in my edited post, IF you don't reimburse your customers I will want to see you and all of Intersango staff wearing a scammer tag, and genjix(or anyone connected with Intersango) kicked out of the Bitcoin dev team. That's all! You're no better than Tom Williams if you don't fully reimburse your customers.
This is the first we have heard of this attack (on the forums just now). zhoutong did not even tell us yet. We were gradually assuming control of Bitcoinica over the last weeks by setting up a new platform. There shouldn't even be that much money in the live wallet. I'm waiting to get more information before saying more though. This is kind of ridiculous considering that already money was lost on Linode. The big question going through my head is why was that much money being stored on a Rackspace server. I am angry that our name is being dragged through the mud for something we had no part in. If they intend to honor their obligations, why the silence? If everything was wiped, it could be that they do have most of the deposited funds, less of 18k. But no easy way to figure out, and then verify, who owns what. The radio silence could be attorneys advice. (Shut up and await trial / investigation.) It seems like zhoutong was explicitly told to keep his mouth shut.

That means money people have lost as in real money, I do not think they will count the lost bitcoins. It would be nice if they gave us some info... Or let us know they have not run... The limit to file legal charges in NZ I think is 40 days. Anyone know more about this?
I would say file the charges. I wonder how much money was in Bitconica at the time it shut down. The NZ department I mentioned earlier only does investigations on fraud that causes more than $2 million (I am guessing NZD) from investors.

I see you are in contact with their lawyer, and also with zhoutong. I do not know what these people are doing, but I do not think this is the official place where they should share the news, I think they have an e-mail where you can reach them. The radio silence could be attorneys advice. (Shut up and await trial / investigation.) It seems like zhoutong was explicitly told to keep his mouth shut.

I am sure they would love to chat with you folks, posting here in between the death threats and insults, but maybe they have other things to do.
I rest my case here, because this thread has turned into something it is not, and I think this is why they are not replying here anymore.

Actually there is an easy way. Contrast this situation to when MtGox was breached last year. MagicalTux performed a transaction of 424,424.4242 bitcoins, as requested on IRC, to prove his control of funds. I rest my case here, because this thread has turned into something it is not, and I think this is why they are not replying here anymore.
No excuse for not replying anywhere.

I received money from them (SEPA), Friday and today. The last transfer was 'Sent' yesterday I think, nobody is dead, they probably just avoid the agitators here, that want them hanged in the center of town. I repeat, I am not saying I know what they will do, but I have no proof they will take off, or what these people are implying just because they are not answering their demands on some forum. I am sure they would love to chat with you folks, posting in between the death threats and insults, but maybe they have other things to do.

No, I did not need any e-mail communication, since everything works as usual, for me at least. I received money from them (SEPA), Friday and today. Ok, so which form exactly should I fill out to speed up their desire to communicate? The one in New Zealand? Or is this utterly useless? What other legal options are available apart from naming and shaming? If this is the last resort we should open some more threads called "Intersango & the Bitcoinica debacle", possibly in more visible forum sections, too. I fear there will be no funds returned because they may have no data on how many bitcoins they owe. So, don't tell me the thread is off-track. This thread is just where it needs to be. I want my coins back, and pronto. Time to start writing email messages and look for the Intersango forum informing customers about who they do business with. I'm fed up.

well... since neither zhou or anyone in intersango are owners maybe THE OWNER is telling them all to shut up... if that is the case we should out him sooner or later... (HINT HINT)
Release the owner's name then.

Release the owner's name then. Tihan Seale from Coinlabs is the guy whose name is on the paperwork in NZ. That was released earlier in this thread.

During this transition period we were hesitant to conflict with Zhou's statements, however we have decided that a clarification is necessary.
Much of the information available is misleading. We will be issuing a statement later today to clarify the situation.

Release the owner's name then. Patrick Strateman, Donald Norman, Amir Taak, Zhou Tong. Zhou and Patrick will be in interpol.com soon, my lawer submitted all papers about my old case against Zhou, last week. You guys should take care about others.

i think Bitcoinica users are more interested in hearing status update in regards of getting their funds back from Bitcoinica rather than some clarification statements on what has been said previously at this time
