Yup, if someone can't be sitting at his/her computer, someone can't pull the plug when someone's BTC are being eroded fast  Grin

It occured to me lately (actually just now Wink ) that those interventions may be quite voluntarily executed in order to dampen the surge in price. This way this rally wont overheat too fast and therefore be of little duration. It also may excel its own hight if controlled and supported, instead of being left solely at markets forces.

This is what I've been thinking for a long time. The 'manipulator' might actually be one or more persons trying to control the market in a possitive way for the community.

If that's the case, then he needs to try a little harder, I think.  Pulled out too early.  Nobody was going to buy through that.

Bitcoin Fact: the price of bitcoin will not be greater than $70k for more than 25 consecutive days at any point in the rest of recorded human history.

One possibility to consider is that our "manipulator" is in fact buying and selling Bitcoins on behalf of clients in a parallel market and the appearance and disappearance of walls is driven to some degree by what is going on in this parallel market.

Concerned that blockchain bloat will lead to centralization? Storing less than 4 GB of data once required the budget of a superpower and a warehouse full of punched cards. https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/87/IBM_card_storage.NARA.jpg https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Punched_card

Ugh, I wish that guy'd just leave it up there.  The higher we go right now the further we're going to fall when this thing corrects.

If it goes up that high we'll see the price flirt with $5 again.  That'll be really awesome for some people and horrible for a lot more.

I would love to have a look into your crystal ball. You don't know what's going to happen to the price of bitcoin any more than I do. Nobody knows. So give it a rest already.
