0.1BTC trades causing $10 swings now...

I  just called Gox on the phone, only answering machine. Asked them to just turn off the servers. If the US financial system can survive 3 days with the exchanges closed after 9/11, we can survive turning off the servers for a day or two FIXING THIS.

more or less retired.

My my, quite a sell-off this.  Wish I had been smart enough to sell some today.  Luckily enough my failed dip-trading for 10 coins from yesterday still paid off a little (but peanuts compared to the swings this market is having).

funny how you can place orders on MtGox during lag but can't cancel them - I hit cancel a bunch of times 30 mins ago and they're still there.

MORE than an hour of lag, I think even Gox has to admit defeat at this point, it will just build to infinity.

Do you think the people who caused this problem in the first place at themselves freaking out a bit at the fallout?

1 hour lag on mtgox. Time to switch off the computer and go for a walk somewhere with trees and flowing water.

I have a SEPA waiting to clear any minute now into my bitstamp account.... I bet I'm going to miss all the cheap coins!!!

I can't believe people sold that low while gox was still clearly above 150. They deserve what they get.

I wonder how high all the "stuck" market bids will bring the price up once the lag clears.
