Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

well i commend Cmilian for coming on here and answering some questions. at least he has the balls coming into the lions den and answer questions with respect to his connection with poopcoin.

Maybe he should do it in some appropriate thread instead of continuing to deliberately derail this one.

I am troubled by the issues at GAW and their PayCoin.

I wanted nothing to do with PayCoin in the first place because I was happy mining BTC. We had no choice.

I'm getting the feeling that gaw CEO isn't a scammer.
He's just the biggest fucking narcissist on the planet.

we have discussed in the past that he's more closely associated to the description of a sociopath, which due to its characteristics tends to yield narcissism among other things
from https://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/wicked-deeds/201401/how-tell-sociopath-psychopath

Quote
Key traits that sociopaths and psychopaths share include:

A disregard for laws and social mores    - CHECK
A disregard for the rights of others        - CHECK
A failure to feel remorse or guilt           - CHECK
A tendency to display violent behavior    - CHECK   (Though his violent behavior is on the web)

In addition to their commonalities, sociopaths and psychopaths also have their own unique behavioral characteristics, as well.

Sociopaths tend to be nervous and easily agitated. They are volatile and prone to emotional outbursts, including fits of rage. They are likely to be uneducated and live on the fringes of society, unable to hold down a steady job or stay in one place for very long. It is difficult but not impossible for sociopaths to form attachments with others. Many sociopaths are able to form an attachment to a particular individual or group, although they have no regard for society in general or its rules. In the eyes of others, sociopaths will appear to be very disturbed. Any crimes committed by a sociopath, including murder, will tend to be haphazard, disorganized and spontaneous rather than planned

the funny thing is, Garza appears to clearly follow the above guidelines, but on the internet. The internet has created a separation of what's called "real-life" and internet life.
not sure if a term like this has even been created in psychology, but I would like to call it
"virtual sociopath" or "online sociopath" or something along those lines.
his "real life" persona may be very different, so this would be a pseudo multiple-personality (Dissociative Identity). This could be partially augmented by this repression due to his Church membership.

You mean you trusted them and did not sell. You did not have a choice because you believed in lies, that's your fault. You should have sold your genesis when the price was $ 9,8,7,6,5,4,3. But you did not. You, like everyone else had to choose multiple times, most decided to stay and convert. That means you decided to stay. I am really sorry for your investment.

I do not get, many HT users come now here to talk honestly, maybe they start to realize how nice they have been used. Didn't HT mean BTCtalk is worst place, .... .

Actually, it turns out he has less balls than brain cells and I am certain he doesn't have two of those to rub together. He has to run back crying to momma and badmouth those darned people who point out that he is being an idiot in the safety of HT where no one can respond to his pathetic attempts at insults
https://i.imgur.com/oCQndxq.jpg

baaahahahaha he went running back to HT to cry?  I thought he was some bigshot CEO baaahhahahhahaha I knew he was a jagoff the second he rolled in here heavy whipping out his dick claiming his big CEO title.  Doesn't he know I'm a CEO too we're all CEO's here so is HJG.  Like he didn't think we were going to spot his crying post.  Ahh he went through your post history isn't that special he's a detective too.  Doesn't he know that a lot of people in this thread just joined BCT because they were scammed by gaw maybe he should consider that but then again why would he.  Just another greedy jagoff looking to strike it rich off the backs of some unsuspecting suckers.

It really saddens me to see such things around here, all these good hearted people blindly following a few people who are ripping them off and pretend like they are offering them something amazing just to stuff their own pockets.

Lol gawtards get dumber by the day, mouth wide open for Homero
no f*ing doubt. with the single JG's post above yours and then they went all crazy happy about it

this leads me to another psychological theory.
I believe most of the hashtalk act like the beat up wife (domestic violence victim). Any minimal sign of decency/respect on them and they act like nothing was ever wrong, that they are deeply loved, that nothing wrong will happen again ...until they are beat up again.
most are there waiting for any crumbles of good news and most of the rest are there because they are used to it. (i.e the wife that is not as damaged but thinks this is how things work and they can't find anything better anywhere else

https://hashtalk.org/topic/34037/thank-god-finally-some-good-news-looks-like-a-major-feature-development-is-on-it-s-way-thank-you-mr-gaw-for-the-update/1

Yeah it is great to hear these news. Timing could not have been more perfect.
now all the people that wanna dump right now & after the expiry of the 3month stakers will really have to think and act accordingly
because once the cruiser has set sail it won't be taking anymore passengers on it

Testing final bit? probably few hours now sensational

Even the 6 month ones. Perhaps this is the big surprise the CEO was testing. Or a bug of colossal proportions.

Going to a different, heavily censored forum to take shots at someone is just tacky. Why wouldn't he post that here to the guy's (internet) face?

Because he is the CEO of a big lending corporation, and that's how you do things when you are a bigshot like that.  Roll Eyes  Cheesy

I am about 99.999% certain he is referring to me.

Here is an offer Cmilian: If you want to come back to the Bigboys Table and discuss things I will do my very best to try to not call you an absolute fucking imbecile who could not think his way out of a wet paper bag with the help of a chainsaw and has less financial prowess than Lucy Ricardo on crack. No promises though, I am human, after all. Roll Eyes

Well you are an ass, we all know that Cheesy.

Also +1 for the I love Lucie reference!

Seriously I missed something in my sleepness stupor, how did the convo go towards a merchant? Been 2-3 days for me since I checked things, you guys post too much!

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=857670.msg10806299#msg10806299

Someone complained that BTCLend threatened them and I posted a small rant about it being shady.

Now I'm torn between "shady" and "extremely dumb", given their initial reluctance to deny rumors of "partnership" with GAW on HT when it suited them, CMILLIAN's attempts to get a Prime Controller, partnerships with other questionable sites like xpystaker.com.

But hey, it's their business to flush down the drain, why should I care.

Cmilian joined hashtalk about a week after I did. Primes were still $16.

I first encountered him doing "math" in google sheets as he fantasized over his sub $1000 prime purchase being worth hundreds of thousands so long as he reinvested 100% of his payouts.

I recommended that he take some freaking payouts in the "off chance" it was unsustainable for a company to return 10%/week. AFAIK he was still sticking to his losing strategy as payouts tanked.

Clearly he has what it takes to run a finance company in the cryptosphere.

Watching the XPY market is fun.

Someone is making a dedicated effort to support the price.

As well as the usual dust pumps they are having to actually buy hundreds of dollars of XPY at time to desperately defend 0.002
