like is that funny ceo guy in jail already? any more stuff about paycoins on mars, supported by aliens, etc?

That is a very good summary and it should be stickied.  This is a lot worse than BFL and I see no reason as to why the Marshalls don't come knocking on GAW soon.

They did sell and host hardware at GAW that you could point at whatever pool you wanted for awhile. The post should include that.

Regarding whether Josh will end up in prison over this:

On one hand I would say probably not. He has his ass covered fairly well with the ridiculous TOS and the demonstration of incompetence.  All of his sycophantic underlings had better be shitting their pants about right now though, because when the shit hits the fan the first thing Josh will do is toss those assholes under the bus to save his own butt.

On the other hand, this scam is likely going to destroy the lives of hundreds or even thousands of people. Scamming people for a few bucks is one thing, but when you con people out of their kids' college funds and daddy loses the house, some folks might just decide to get some serious payback. All of the bomb clearing equipment on Meganet won't stop a pissed off dude with a half empty bottle of whiskey and a .45. A prison wall will though. It might be a wise move for Josh to sock away the stolen loot in some anonymous BTC wallets somewhere and take a couple year vacation in some white collar prison and brush up on his tennis. Get out after the mob has settled down and start anew somewhere far far away with a nice little nestegg.

I still don't understand where this whole "mining the HashPoint Pool gave you XPY at $4/coin" logic has come from. I hear it all the time. Can someone explain it to me? If mining the HP pool was free, the cost of the coin should only be the opportunity cost of not mining whatever the most profitable scrypt pool on ZenCloud was for that duration. Even with conservative assumptions, I would think that opportunity cost should be way less than $4/coin.

Because when they were mining Bitcoin they were given a satoshi but it was supposedly supposed to be $4 worth that the got in hashpoints

Well, the opportunity cost to mine the HP Pool was zero so the cost of the coin was free if you were mining HP and had that converted to XPY. Still don't understand how the $4/coin reference got started.

Where do you get free from - Zen hashlets cost money - 4$ comes from when you were mining 10 hp per KHS they were worth 1C a piece 400 to equal a XPY coin so 4$ the basement essentially. 

The cost of the haslet is irrelevant for anything other than calculating your total ROI. Your opportunity cost is the difference between what you gave up and what you gained. What you gave up was mining for 0 BTC. What you gained was something worth 0 BTC. Therefore, your cost for the coin was zero. It cost you exactly nothing to mine it. You didn't even have to give up BTC revenue to mine it. That $0.01 value for a HP was something arbitrary that GAW assigned. It had no real value. That's like saying XPY is worth $20 because I say so.

Wow, good find. And it isn't just similar, it is pretty much a 100% copy, just a different color. This explains why Josh opened up a "design a new Paycoin logo" thread a few days back on HT. Gotta love that gopago is involved with "POS" as well, but the Point Of Sale POS. Maybe when they said Paycoin was going to be a POS coin they meant it would be a PointOfSale coin instead of a PieceOfShit errrr, ProofOfStake coin....
