Not going well in GAW land.

To be honest I'm a bit surprised by all this unraveling so quickly. It looks like the "floor" was the last straw for many.

Why are you surprised? Why are the people there surprised?

What percentage of paycoins are held by people who give a shit about paycoin and what percentage are people who only have them because the promise of the $20 floor and the failures of the cloud mining/primes/hashlets/other bullshit they signed up for?

The math on this thing doesn't line up if he wasn't full of shit, but since he is full of shit, of course the doomsday date was as soon as the floor didn't materialize

I'm not surprised that it's happening, I'm surprised that it's all happening today and the usually chatty/tweety CEO is nowhere to be found when some damage control might be in order. Somehow I imagined a more convulsive process. I can't believe he's given up, I hope we'll hear a new sob story soon.

The funny thing is Pay Base on its own would be a good thing if all the features work, it is what Crypto needs to bring it a little more main stream, unfortunately just the wrong company bought it in, they also tried to lie to the crypto community.

I would have to say though this is more about bad management and poor timing than the lies, had of pay base launched with full features, then Pay Coin just may have settled at $20.

The poor judgement would normally mean the Board would sack the CEO however in this case Josh owns the Majority of the company.

I will say one other thing the threats I am reading hear to Josh and family are quite sickening, any person hear who thinks that is OK is just wrong.

I am OK in you wanting to destroy GAW and Josh in the business world but lets leave the threats alone.

I am and I'm not.

In some ways I thought the collapse would come the day the investors got their hp converted XPY. I was surprised everybody didn't just run for the hills the second they could. But then I guess we had information most other investors didn't.

We've had many broken promises, like hashlet buyback, zenpool, SHA256 mining, etc and HT community has shown a lot of tolerance for those shenanigans in the past. And they still are holding up quite well even in this shitstorm.

What's different now is that GAW no longer operates in a bubble (i.e. ZenCloud), they have touched The Real World with their Paycoin. Now external actors like Litecoin or Shapeshift calling GAW out is something entirely new. Looks like they've been watching this for a while, it wasn't just us in our own "bubble thread".
