I think the whole lawyers/SEC thing is a excuse and a lie to buy him some time. Watch a few episodes of American Greed, about half way into the scam, the person running the scam comes up with all sorts of delay tactics.
Meanwhile, paycoin tanked at the announcement and there's a slight opportunity to gain some ground if the price drops to below $0.20, there would be a slight rebound to probably $0.40 or $0.50 to sell. At this point, paycoin is nothing more than a market asset.
