Well well well

https://coinfire.cf/2014/11/22/is-gaw-miners-lying-about-partnerships/

Quote
Walmart confirmed via spokesperson Tara Greco that Walmart has no relation with GAW Miners, PayCoin or any project that Josh Garza or GAW Miners is involved with issuing the following statement to Coin Fire,

Walmart has no intention of expanding our current payment options to accept PayCoin from GAW Miners or any affiliate of the company. Any statements implying this is the case are false. Walmart offers a variety of payment methods in our stores and on our website for our customers which can be found online or in-store. We have no partnership with this company.

Target also confirmed to our team that much like Walmart it has no relation to paycoin, or GAW Miners with a spokesperson telling our editorial team,

Target does not have any record of any partnership with GAW Miners or anyone named Josh Garza. Any statement contrary to this is false. We have no intention of accepting “paycoin”.

Amazon went one step further with having an unnamed source at the company’s legal department tell us that,

If this company believes it can imply a partnership with Amazon we will be seeing them in court if they don’t stop doing so immediately.

The official statement from an Amazon spokesperson was just as telling if less bold reading,

Amazon is not affiliated or partnered with GAW Miners or paycoin. If this company wishes to list products on our website as a third-party seller they may do so. No partnership should be implied from those listings. Amazon has created a robust and international system that allows vendors to bring products to the Amazon.com website – but in no way does it imply a partnership with our company.

We also have no intentions of selling our merchandise through paycoin and refer our customers to the now accepted payment methods already on the Amazon site

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

That was kind of expected after the CEO said he needs to stop mentioning those companies due to NDAs. What's more interesting is the reaction on HT, where posters either try to discredit CF or even deny that those retailers were ever mentioned. Looks like history can be rewritten after all.

Before I got out of there I was suggesting that people download
the entire hashtalk site as evidence since obviously this whole
crap would end in lawsuits or some sort of law enforcement
would be forced to stop ignoring it.

Yes, I am sure you are correct in that ;p

Fees will drop, payouts will increase, and all will be forgiven.

Wow, it is Saturday night and the wacky punch is flowing freely on tap over there. Very strange what people will say or do to feed their denial of the facts.

I am not going to prove a thing to you. I am 100% ok with you not believing.

If your looking for a company to prove everything you ask, and control your payouts so you always win, your looking in the wrong place.

The proof is in actions, not words. Over 60%of our customers have achieved an ROI. And we are just going to keep at it.

Thanks for stopping by.

It's simple. Make some fiat. Buy some BTC. I don't believe there is an easier way, not in mining anyway.

You are not going to make money mining. If someone had a miner that would make btc they would plug it in instead of selling or renting it to you.

Use cash to buy coins or trade other goods or services for coins.

Some people made good money on GAW. We're talking about a company that paid over 1 million USD for a domain and even more for antminers. Don't cross them out yet. Wink

Can anyone who bought at $50 (or God forbid, $70) claim the same of a Prime purchase?

People who sold got lucky because the prices and payments kept going down. Had there been anothere hashlet hype or bitcoin pump they would be the losers.
It's a gamble, you never know what the day will bring. Maybe tomorrow bitcoin reaches $400 or drops to $300. Maybe paycoin gets some media attention and skyrockets, I wish them all the best.

Response to the Coinfire "Article"

The article is hogwash.

They never reached out to us once, or cited any sources.

A few months ago, I caught them making up "facts" and confronted them. I guess they hold a grudge Smiley

So I know they have a better way to get ahold of me......

These guys have a reputation for making up "facts," (did you hear we have a hotel on Mars now?) They offer no sources with their articles. There is not a chance in H*ll that any billion-dollar retailer would talk to any of those guys. Go look at the quality of the articles they write, then look at their Alexa score:

http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/coinfire.cf

They get less traffic than almost every other site in this industry. They are not even on the charts! You tell me, would Wal-Mart disclose a confidential deal they are working on to them?

This is a publicity stunt to capture more readers, nothing more. For shame.

Coinfire: GAW will defend itself against libelous claims, such as those in your "article."

Here are the actual facts:

First, since most of you did your homework and figured out who some of the partners of our company will be, (since we met with them earlier in the week,) then you can connect the dots on how we're able to connect with large merchants......

Second, I already over-stepped our NDA once by disclosing partnerships, and I won't do it again. All I will say is that if any company announced our partnership, they would be in violation of their NDA with us, too. We will respect and honor our agreements until the time that we can disclose them.

Paycoin will be able to be used at tier-one merchants, either directly or through a debit card in the coming months.

You might want to look into the relationship GAW had with ZenCloud prior to accepting the claimed amounts as fact.

In summary:
- Whatever HashTitan says happened, did... it is the truth and 100% factual - just don't worry about his hypocrisy regarding citing sources and providing proof.
- If HashTitan says something is "hogwash"... it is... so don't concern yourself with his continued hypocrisy regarding citing sources and providing proof.

After all, HashTitan is the epitome of ethics, morals, and reputation within the crypto arena - unless you disrespect him and point out he is not actually DOING anything within or for the industry.  Roll Eyes
