on a side note, does anyone know anything about bitmain's L1s?

As in - when will they ship? Nope. Bitmain is not a very verbose company, they will probably post something like "ships next week" or "cancelled, go here to claim your refund" when the time comes.
as in anything...do they even exist? will anyone get it? etc, etc...i guess no one knows until bitmain ships or cancels

wow this is incredible i am away for 2 days from this forum and i return to see has gone basically 50 pages in that short time span. I wonder how come all the forums that say gaw or josh always seems to be so on demand with the users. I dont think i have seen any forum fill up this fast maybe i am sure gox did lol

While you were away you missed a couple of fumbled ZenCloud updates that got even mods and resellers mad (pun intended). Market and withdrawals still don't work. All this reflects badly on the very tight and opaque PayCoin release schedule. People sitting on mountains of Hashpoints are getting worried. If you think this forum is crazy go watch HT imploding.
lol yeah i can see that i guess i will have plenty of reading material for the toilet time. Now i must say i am shocked that people are getting worried they sitting on all those hashpoints come on it is from our savior from satoshi and all the evil world geverment money. This is the coin of the future

I wonder if the SHA for Primes issue is finally gonna get "addressed" by the CEO:

https://hashtalk.org/topic/22285/goodbye-for-now/183?page=11

and the thread is locked with the poster who asked how SHA mining was addressed being called a troll by a mod.  Can't make this stuff up.

Yeah it got conveniently locked so the CEO didn't have to respond to the statement from that jacksparrow guy lol.

I think he was spot on with Homeroes future with GAW. I love how he hid it in an innocent post

From Twitter Gaw CEO go Team Paycoin send out your army, I thought I was a customer. What a fuckwit.

"Army" isn't that bad, he openly calls a large number of his customers "trolls".

Here's a good example of taking advantage of someone's stupidity:

https://hashtalk.org/topic/21881/resolved-my-legendary-hashlet-just-sold-itself

The most likely scenario is clear. He had it for sale, then took it down. Then the rollback happened, and it was put back up for sale at the old price. It was sold. He didn't want it sold. They should give him a new legendary. (Maybe he wouldn't get the same kind of legendary, but the CEO's stated that they have some stashed away, so he could get something equivalent.)

Somehow the masses were able to convince this poor guy that it was his fault. (Despite the fact that during exactly the same time frame a different user had one put back up after he had taken it off the market.) Then, "zen_Eric" closed the thread down saying it was a "user initiated sale," ignoring that it was most likely a user-cancelled sale that they executed anyway.

As for the other user, the one with solid evidence that his sale was the result of the rollback, well...

I think the end result is clear. The forum was just becoming useful, too. Now we're back to having only this thread for exploring interesting ideas.

You ARE way behind, it's the coin that's going to replace all fiat now.

im not so sure about that, of course this is all debatable. but the ability to print fiat been a huge thing for ages.

the word fiat means - believe or to have faith in. which most people do, since its adopted for so many years. bitcoin the coin you are referring to is trying to do that in a small fraction of time - which is why even if major retailers adopt, and other great news about it people still rather use what they are accustomed since they are more familiar with it.

it takes education for people to use something, and the complicated it is, its a longer process.

but this coin is a replacement to the deficit though, which is something that you have to factor. I think its better to consider as not a "replacement" but more of a gold perspective.

I have more stuff to say, but what does a newbie know.  Tongue

@GAW_CEO hope this helps the "older" HT'ers among us to come back and have fun again.
It's getting harder and harder to actually find posts that actually have content and aren't the x amount of topic on the same thing with questions posted and anwsered a few to 100 times over.

They honestly believe that the reason there are so many of the same questions is because there was no down-voting. NO, It's because they are all complete fucking morons. 90% of them don't have the slightest clue what they've invested in and just love the fun.

This "investment" is way too high risk to be considered investing. It is actually about fun and you're paying more for entertainment than investing (like a casino).

I'm betting that this is a legit operation. I put some money in (not much) for the same reason I bet on sporting events, so I have a rooting interest. Go, GAW! Rah Rah Sis Boom Bah!

Unfortunately, shutting down any interesting questions or ideas is not my idea of fun.

Well, I was complaining about how they were spending more time

on the blather of retarded people than my withdrawal issues. That

probably had something to do with it.

I somehow missed this interesting aspect of the "upgrade" - once you have the HashStaker reserved, you can only mine Hashpoints with that Prime. So no more double-dipping into ZenPool or any other kind of BTC income once you cross that bridge, and no way back either. Please keep that in mind.
