I believe the inherent mistake is people comparing this to other alt coins that have been launched by guys in basements. While the growth so far would be great for those guys, when you look at GAW and their company, I would consider this launch a fleeting failure. I can only imagine what kind of things GAW will do and mess up passed this

That is part of the whole scam process, to keep introducing 'justified and explained/excused' delays.

Has anyone checked to see if the final PoW block was the, supposed, megablock payout? It might not have been correct but I've gone through way too much popcorn on this topic to rule out GAW pulling such a stunt after saying they were going to keep mining for zero rewards to secure the network.

WARNING!!! Check your forum URLs carefully and avoid links to phishing sites like 'thebitcointalk' 'bitcointalk.to' and 'BitcointaLLk'

Only 343,259 XPY were mined. The remainder will never exist. Lower supply helps GAW keep price higher.

Just watching BTC/XPY trades on Bittrex, so this is what it looks like when Homero plays with himself.  Going to need a lot of Kleenex to clear up this mess by the time he's finished.

Lemmings are buying inspired by buy wall?

i did a bit of trading on it already. made 0.22btc, not going back in now, happy with the extra bonus.
honestly, this coin has been tremendously profitable for me.

THIS!  Cheesy

i should reiterate that the little piece of trading i did today on cryptsy was the very first time i ever owned any XPY. I even sent it to a wallet to look at it for a minute - before I sent it back and sold it.  Cheesy

Good to see redacted is up nice and early with a fresh box of tissues Cheesy

Quote
That's all well and good, but some of us have many tens-of-thousands of dollars sitting there tied up in XPY with no way to turn them into BTC until paybase opens up. I've bought up probably 50 BTC worth of coins, but mostly I'm sitting with probably 250 BTC worth of XPY that I can't do a freaking thing with. It would be nice to flip that back around for more coins....

Like Alien, I'm a large investor in GAW that literally just got screwed over bigtime here.

I'm suggesting to have private group for all the traders who have SOME_MINIMUM amount of coins, and start draining max profit from this market... their promises will make people bring more and more BTC into the arena

Good traders never deal in what if and should haves. They only count the money in their pocket and nothing else matters.
