FindCoin is dead.

No, it's alive. All works. We need a SuperBlok PoS system. And shops for Findcoin.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Alright so here is the situation as I see it:

DenKoma is gone for now (he told us a while back he had some big stuff to deal with in his company) and no contact has been made.

What we need is a person / new team capable of (at least) web development to take over the website and start the services we planned (POD, scammer bounties, etc). I don't have the time to manage that aspect of the coin, but I can continue to help out with the wallet / technical issues we need to solve.

Anyone interested in joining the dev team let me know, and we can start to get things going again.

Smiley hi , i'm newbie, i have a problem.
I don't receive findcoin every hour, it report " Not stacking, because you don't have maturie coin.".

It's POS system:
If you have balance then findcoind would automatically try to generate proof hashes for you. If you find a stake the reward is calculated using current Proof-of-Stake difficulty and Coin-Age amount consumed. The reward amount is added to your stake amount and is shown together in the stake field of getinfo output.
you can also buy coins, either on yobit.net exchange or in this topic: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=908464.0
yes, thank you. Now, do i need Findcoin in wallet to get staking ?

FIND DenKoma! Cheesy
that is a good joke. FIND coins do not have good luck with developers, but I still believe this project is worth something and will survive.

If you all pitch in for a community bounty I will happily add what is needed to the source and update the wallets.

Great. Please contact Quadmium to join the dev team, then - see message below.

Alright so here is the situation as I see it:

What we need is a person / new team capable of (at least) web development to take over the website and start the services we planned (POD, scammer bounties, etc). Fine. Thanks Quadmium for the updates.

We can now move on without waiting for DenKoma anymore.

Just stick with the original plan and this coin is still a nice project.

I agree shame to see him go but we cant just all crawl into the shadows because he has!

There are scammers to Find and developments to be made this is a good project and as long as it gets a community behind it, it will be a success.

This person "TwiddlerD" is a known FUDster and scammer.

I wouldn't trust anything he says.

ok, thanks for the warning. It is important that we choose the new member of the team properly, as this coin has already suffered a lot. First in the FindYouCoin incarnation and now as FindCoin.

Today I suggested FIND to the voting list on c-cex.com , I will inform you if they will add it and we can start to vote ( it is necessary only 0.003 btc per user --  0.001 btc = 1 vote).

Thanks for that. There are like 220 votes needed to be accepted. I think we can make it.

I will take a look later and make my vote but am not sure it is worth it, all that is going to happen is further dumping is it not why you want it on the exchange?

Actually, I was the one who was voting against listing FIND on any exchange for as long as possible hoping that it will have twofold effect. First, it will bring more time for a stable development if coin features and second it will boost direct trade among thusers so that exchange fees can be saved. None of that happene, so I suppose we should try the classical way of any altcoin that is to the exchange purgatory.
