There we are, the same stuff I talk about, except I use words such as consciousness, rather than Shiva, God, rather than Brahman, and ego, rather than Atman.
You're missing the point. In Hinduism the focus is on work as a way of becoming worthy of enlightenment and you only become "worthy" of enlightenment if your perform your dharmas first. Hindus regard putting seeking enlightenment before earthly concerns as escapism which will trap you in the karmic cycle. Buddhism puts a higher value on enlightenment than on earthly concerns, but Buddhists emphatically reject the notions of transmigration of the soul and any kind of creationism (ie, the existence of a supreme being which set the Universe/existence in motion). Can you please define work with Hindi words? I cannot find any information saying you must get a job before enlightening yourself, if that's the kind of work you're referring to. Otherwise, it seems you're saying you must do rather than do not doing to find enlightenment, which is true. No supreme being set the universe in motion, the universe is that supreme 'being.' This. This is a perfect blend of being a plastic paddy, cherry picking recuperation and botched simplistic rationalisation, served in a sauce of smug self-feeding delusions of grandeur. He means actually going out there and taking care of both your concerns and helping with those of others, not just being a useless fuck depending on his parents to finance his rockstar fantasies.

Rarity - it doesn't matter.
I dunno, if I got a mystery check from somewhere I would want to know who sent it. Who was it that was so involved in following my life that they would send me money? How did they know my address without my giving it to them? Will they send more if I do certain things? What would they want me to spend it on?

If they wanted me to know something, they would have told me. Sure, I was curious at first, but I'm just grateful of it, perhaps I will one day find out, doesn't matter to me.

Best case scenario your family took pity on you. You should talk to them about it.

Are you aware that if you cash out checks that later bounce you are responsible for the funds? Have you recently applied for any "stay at home" type jobs?

Our agreement is not yet active. You know what you have to do to activate it. Do your part and post a link for me to listen to. Dank, this is very important, have you sent any funds from cashing the check on to another party?

Listen guys, religion is based on the understanding of the world to the people at the time. All prophets from major religions are "travelers" just like dank and I. However, we know a lot more about the world today and are able to apply it correctly.
All major religions have a little bit of truth to them, so it's smart to pick and choose. I think Buddhism has come closest to the truth. When Buddha obtained Enlightenment to realized that reality (life) is an illusion. All of this is literally what we make it. We are in control.
So it's no doubt to me that dank will be a Rock God by the end of the year. If he wants it enough, it will happen, from his perspective. That's the great thing about the quantum multiverse, everything that can ever happen, will happen. It's just a matter of willing the correct perspective.
That's the best laymans way I can describe it, but trust me, it's true. Just wait, you'll see.

My niece informs me this is not the requested song. Please honor our agreement. The check has not even been cashed, and it's none of your business. I strongly urge you not to cash a check from an unknown source. You have no way of knowing if it is good or not.

I don't believe you have actually done DMT. I have done plenty of DMT in my life and I agree its life changing, but dank clearly hasn't experienced ego death as you can clearly tell from his smug, entitled, condescending, self-centered, childish attitude. Also, I don't think having a DMT experience instantly turns you into a "traveler." I am not speaking from "hate." In fact, I hope dank becomes successful and eventually grows up. If you read this thread, no matter how "enlightened" you are, you will realize how stubborn this kid is. I am convinced you are either really young or you have not read some of dank's statements. He is in no way a "traveler."

I think Buddhism has come closest to the truth.
dank, however, believes in transmigration of the soul. Buddhism emphatically rejects that notion. In Buddhist teachings, the soul as just as impermanent and transient as everything else and there is no continuity of the soul from one incarnation to the next. However, we know a lot more about the world today and are able to apply it correctly. We may know more about the world today, but our application of our knowledge is no more "correct" than our ancestors' application of their knowledge. What seems "correct" to us now will not seem "correct" to future generations.

I have been lurking BTC for awhile and have seen this thread a few times. I've read the first and last 10 or so pages. Care to point out some of these "statements" you have issue with?
You may have done DMT, but have you ever had a breakthrough dose? I've done it a handful of times through IV injection and have had a breakthrough dose each time. I have seen what's on the other side, have you?
I'm not young. I am, however, a traveler of both this physical world and dimensions outside of it. What are your credentials to make such claims?

No, I don't understand how grown adults can suck an 18 year old off, all day, everyday. It's like you don't realize your ego's coherent effort, to cock block my dreams, only helps me reach them in the long run.
Ah! Finally! The truth on how dank makes his cash...! Explains why his mom was hesitant to get involved. At least she finally agreed....

dank, people are concerned about the cheque of unknown origin because there are a gazillion cheque scams out there and they all end with you either being on the hook for a loan you didn't realised you signed up for or your bank reversing the deposit weeks after you've spent the money because the cheque wasn't valid, leaving you owing the bank money.
Now maybe there's an anonymous benefactor out there who just happens to know where to send you a cheque - I hope so - but you do need to be cautious when banking cheques of unknown origin because they're often scammy in some way. You said you've shown a couple of people your ID, so lets hope it's one of them making a kind gesture.

FTFY. I originally though he might have been signed up without his knowledge/recollection to whatever disability benefits he will spend his life leaching from, but since it's a manual check Occam's razor comes back into play, where the more obvious explanation is that he's full of shit and he's trying to be interesting and/or validate his perverted view of karma by saying "lookit! the universe sends me cash now!"
