I am considering if it's worthwhile investment but when reading the T&C's I noticed it mentions 2.9 billion neucoins will exist with only 0.1 billion being up for grabs in this fund raising escapade.
Have I really read this correctly? I mean this is essentially saying 'invest 1 BTC now and it will be diluted to less than ~4% of it's value' almost immediately.
Are these reserved billion neucoins used for mining payouts or something else that I'm missing? Why wouldn't someone just buy these coins later when they are worth a fraction of their value in future?
Anyone care to share their transaction ID of > 10BTC they've made to this for some reassurance the reported investment is really happening as they'd be needing large investments like this for those numbers to be accurate.
The fact you have to invest with bitcoin also makes me think, 'why do we need Neucoin, why not use Bitcoin?' if Bitcoin is the only trusted payment system allowed.
Sorry to sound suspicious and I really like they're being open with their numbers but something isn't adding up and perhaps it's merely me not understanding their PoS strategy?

I admire your marketing strategy which is very well structured and efficient. However, I have a few concerns regarding the underlying concrete things.
Your whitepaper states the theory and maths behind (what seems to be) the perfect crypto-currency. On the paper, you did a very good job. But did you actually already implement Neucoin?
Since the Neucoin source code (if it exists) is not publicly available... Could you, at least make the checksum of your genesis block publicly available? This would provide both a guarantee and an evidence that the Neucoin blockchain exists (it will be easily verifiable in the future). And I am sure, this will reassure the people who are buying Neucoins at the moment and eventually boost your sales.
Here's the sha256-sum of the genesis block: e3b0c44298fc1c149afbf4c8996fb92427ae41e4649b934ca495991b7852b855 *scnr* After an urgent advisory board meeting and a lot of pressure from the legal section of the neucoin Code Foundation and a majority of angel investors, the genesis code had to be modified slightly. Therefore the new current (subject to the terms and conditions set forth in previous terms) genesis block has the following hash: 87394f27edcf2c328cc96b104ec4613a04ca6cb301915246cc01da05f896b607 *ditto*

Are you saying that because these purchases weren't transferred to the multisig address effectively in realtime that this is somehow problematic? The woman said they would be transferred once per day, and I'm betting that tomorrow we will see that this is true. Rather than debate this point, let just place a wager and then we can both zip it until tomorrow - what do you say? What would you like to wager?
I'm saying they should be transferred from the original address that was used. doesn't have to be in real time but there should be a link in the blockchain to when it did happen in realtime. if that won't be the case, then yes... absolutely it is problematic because it means there is no proof those sales actually happened at all. I have no idea why they preferred to collect presale funds to unique addresses per transaction and then sweep to the multisig address, but who cares as long as the money gets there as they said it would? As if you could prove that any of these transactions "actually happened" anyway? Mine happened. So anyway, what is our wager? There's a couple of possibilities why they do this or don't do that. You said your transaction happend. Would you mind to show us this transaction on the Blockchain? However: Fact is that a lot of people in the Cryptocoins-community have a lot of technical knowledge. Some have financial knowledge. And others just have a gut-feeling - which is sometimes better than all the other knowledge together. Now if a new coin is being advertised like this NeuCoin, investors should do their proper due diligence, shouldn't they? You invested, so I guess you did do you dd, right? Frankly, the whole NeuCoin-story reminds me very much of some P&D-schemes which were performed in China/USA with the involvement of some of the same players. There were "huge investors" who didn't know that they were investors. There was disappearing stock, false claims, faked figures - go ask the SEC. Ask the SEC about people involved in NeuCoin. Ask some people who filed a class-action in the US because of a P&D-fraud what they think about some of the players in the NeuCoin-game. I'm sure you haven't done your dd. I'm furthermore sure that nobody who invested has done it. Me, for my part, can say that one of my clients wanted to KNOW if it is worth to invest. He was willing to spend a couple of ten thousand US$ for a proper DD. After some days, seeing the first results, he said that he will not invest. There are many people involved in this scheme. Some of them may be working with good faith. This will not prevent them to be held liable. So tell me: How many and which court filings did you read? Which SEC-filings have you seen? What is your conclusion out of what you've read? What is your conclusion regarding the class actions? Either you know about all this and still defend NeuCoin - then you are definitively a shill. Or: You don't know about it and still defend NeuCoin - then you are just plain stupid. Make your choice.

What really pisses me off about this NeuCoin-Scam is the fact that "Bitcoin-Evangelists" like Kaufman and Brock Pierce are involved. Especially Pierce who is on the Chairman of the board of directors of the Bitcoin Foundation implicitly says with his involvement with NeuCoin that he considers Bitcoin has failed. Time to dissolve the Bitcoin-Foundation which is nothing but a bunch of greedy fraudsters.
ftfy. Brock Pierce is now Chairman of the Bitcoin Foundation.

Forgive my petulance and oft-times, I fear, ill-founded criticisms, and forgive me that I have, by this time, made your eyes and head ache with my long letter. But I cannot forgo hastily the pleasure and pride of thus conversing with you.

You've been reading correctly and also your math is correct. Neucoin is likely after a few months only fraction of IPO price. Why anyone would buy the ipo is beyond me aswell. Don't waste your time. The Neucoin team doesn't answer questions directly. All they have is their list of names on which you are supposed to go off. If you aren't impressed by the names and are actually crunching the numbers and trying to do DD you and your questions will be ignored. If you keep asking the club of fanboys is going to come out and call you names and cry FUD. Same shit, different day and coin

This is all going to end badly.
Yes, too much overhead and key design flaws. Bad combo. 100% interest like Asiacoin, Angel investors that can dump on the early bird investors, with inflation that would destroy anything else. The later free distribution will also be a dump fest. Still, insiders that bought in before announced should do well.

If anyone can point me to read any details about it, that would be great. Thanks!! Ask Sandrine in the Neucoin-forum :-p Sandrine (the poor thing) will just respond with the list of wealthy, famous and handsome Angel investors who's penises are larger than yours and buy in prices a mere quarter of the price mere normal-dick-sized investors paid. It is her job to make sure you see the list. If not, Dan Kaufman will hand deliver the list to you as he did a few posts up today. Poor Sandrine. Reminds me of Comical Ali from the Gulf War II. At the mercy of her criminal masters. Hope she gets through this OK. Worship the fucking List! And Shut up! There are no coins! Delivery will be in two months when and if they feel like making any coins according to Seychells law and the Terms and Conditions, after the 100 million Neucoin Premine has been snorted. How dare you ask for transparency, disclosure, or delivery! Some people!
