Besides keeping one's wallet open, is there anyting else to do in order to generate stake after 30 days?
Is CBX like PPC, in that if the wallet is encrypted, one has to run a special .bat file to allow the minting to occur?
If so, is there an example of that file anywhere?

If encrypted, you only have to unlock your vault to mint. For safety, it is preferable to use the 'unlock for minting' option so a password is still required to withdraw bullion from your vault.

I think it's minting, but there is no unlocked padlock in the lower right hand corner indicating that the wallet is encrypted but currently unlocked for block minting only. Is this normal? Again, I don't see anything specifically telling me that I'm minting anything...

You will see a lock icon at the top of your Vault as well as at the bottom right: * Both in locked position = locked and encrypted * Both in unlocked / open position = unlocked for sending and minting * Top unlocked / bottom locked position = unlocked for staking only Yes, I see what you're saying, the two are there initially. However, upon clicking to unlock for staking only, the lock in the lower right doesn't open, it disappears altogether leaving just the network strength symbol and the green checkmark indicating the wallet is synced. Also, even though the wallet is synced, I still got the out of memory error as I leave the computer on and open to mint. Does anyone else have this problem?

Okay, just had a look at my Vault to confirm the lock positioning and made an edit to previous post. Here is the edited data: EDITED:
Lock vs Unlock positions for Vault display:

Does anyone else have this problem? I have never experienced this. Are you running other software simultaneously to the Vault mining process which may be overloading your memory?

Sorry to be a thorn in your side, but don't want to waste 30 days only to find out I wasn't staking at all. Also, CBX wallet is only using about .5G RAM, I have 8G and the other running programs take up about 2.5G. So I'm not sure either...don't have the problem with any other crypto clients... Thanks again.

Your Vault does not need to be running the 30 days... you just need your bullion to be aged a minimum of 30 days at which point you can unlock your Vault and start to compete for stake.

Better safe than sorry! Also, does anyone know if there's a block explorer that shows the rich list like cryptoid? I'd like to see the distribution... I saw the BE in the OP, but I couldn't find that feature.

Curious timing with the recent changes removing transaction fees and increasing withdrawal fees... Better safe than sorry! Agree! Funds should always be kept in your control - this is one of the major advantages of cryptocurrencies. Move them into exchanges for trading and then get them out. We have seen numerous examples of people taking large financial losses by turning over the control of their funds to 3rd parties. Also, does anyone know if there's a block explorer that shows the rich list like cryptoid? I'd like to see the distribution...
I saw the BE in the OP, but I couldn't find that feature. Coinplorer provides this (under old name CGB) although I am not certain how close the data is to real-time. https://coinplorer.com/CGBWe will look into adding this to our explorer as it is a nice to have...

Turned out to be fake. Stresstest is always good so that people remember the risks, I guess that's the only positive thing we can get out of this. Or perhaps a beer? https://twitter.com/cryptsy/status/651025592998064132Back to buying altcoin dips

The good thing about losing bets-of-beer to other coiners is that you get to drink beer with other coiners!

Added a guide to the forum to assist those interested in creating a CBX multisig address. http://forum.cryptobullion.io/index.php?topic=1675.0It is a great feature for multiple purposes but currently is a little clunky to do. We will work on making this more user friendly in a future release but the functionality is here now for those interested. If a community member is interested in trying the outlined procedure and making a more user friendly step by step manual for publication, I will pay 50 CBX for the assist Here is a good video on multisig benefits and uses: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zIbUSaZBJgU

Yes, the procedure isn't very user-friendly to say the least - but it is nice to know this feature is there!

New poll created to get community feedback regarding CBX transaction fees. Currently fees are destroyed in order to help offset increase in money supply from staking. However, since CBX maximum inflationary rate is so low (2% per year), we would like to explore options for potential uses of these fees.
The options in the poll should be pretty clear except for the last one regarding the P2P Vault. To better explain, this is a planned outreach program to coincide with our mobile Vault launch in which each mobile Vault download will install with 10 Bulls (0.1 CBX). We feel this is a nice incentive to encourage downloading and use of the mobile Vault - especially by those new to cryptocurrency.

I have voted: Sent to CBX Foundation fund for development
Because I think this is really needed, development and outreach to the community costs money and with this CBX don't need to ask too much for donations.
I don't know where pre-installed 0.1 cbx should be paid from. Aren't you afraid that when the price is higher people will install hundreds of wallets or even more with some hack?
